The food was genuinely perfect. The hake was so tender and the sauces thay came with it – incredibly flavourful. The oysters were gorgeous – fresh, meaty, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented. I strongly recommend the marmite butter and bread to help you bulk out the food as it is small plates. The crab starter was very small and it felt like it should have come with crackers or something to dip into it, but was nevertheless delicious yet again. The aesthetics and attention to detail in the restaurant were just my style, so I really appreciated it, I just wish the music was a bit louder so we could have a conversation more comfortably without feeling like we were being too loud. The staff was polite and helpful. The cocktails were fantastic too, strong and presented beautifully. I did expect there to be more fish options available, and I was surprised to see the price of the tins on the menu on the website was £4-5 cheaper than the costs listed on the menu we looked at inside. But I genuinely want to come back for the lunch deal as well as the oyster pack for £38 (12 oysters, 2 of each flavour). Also a note to say the water was not free.

Each mouthful was spectacular, well balanced & unexpected. The Hake was sublime, the drinks were beautiful curated and definitely on our family list of places to return to time and time again.

We had a lovely evening at one fish street for one of their wine tasting/set menu events. Food and wine was delicious. “The wine guy” (self described) was clearly passionate about the wine and happy to answer questions. Staff were super friendly and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. Also thought the event represented very good value for money really. First time eating here and looking forward to going back for their normal menu soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first dining experience at One Fish Street! The oysters were sublime, as were the starters (particularly the cuttlefish arancini). The hake main was perfectly cooked, and the dessert really surprised us. Staff were lovely and helped us pick a fantastic wine. We even brought our baby along (sleeping!), which they accommodated. Really cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Al the food was exceptional and presented beautifully on very nice stone and granite serving dishes.
Service was faultless and very welcoming. We were greeted and seated quickly.
Sad that they were out of the mussels and we didn’t have room left to try the prawns, so we Will definitely be back again, soon

I celebrated my birthday here tonight and was treated to a 9 course tasting menu. It was an epic meal, beginning to end. Bursts of subtle flavors, fun textures, lovely presentation. Don’t miss this restaurant when you’re in St Ives — and if you can swing it, the tasting menu is absolutely worth it. My only recommendation to the restaurant… put the chef’s name on the menu, website, social media and more. Time to step out from behind the curtain to celebrate your talent. Well done!

A huge thank you to Chef Bradley and the team at One Fish Street. We had a wonderful meal sitting at the bar / chef’s table enjoying the fabulous tasting menu and accompanying wine flight.
The hake was a particular highlight but all the dishes were outstanding with excellent flavours and stunning presentation.
A super friendly team. We’ll certainly be back.

The cuttlefish arrincini (snack) and the hake(main) were highlights of our visit and they were both delicious. We also enjoyed the raw oysters. We were disappointed with some of the other dishes. We ordered a black pudding with apple crostade ( usually fig but it was off the menu) and it was served as a piece of black pudding with a tiny piece of apple on top. The winter tomatoes side was also disappointing as the tomatoes were tasteless. The desert was a miso ice cream surrounded by a wet mousse and crumb. It was very underwhelming. Overall, we felt there was a lack of cohesion with all of the different plates.
