Eclectic small plates, tastings & weekend acoustic musicians in a cozy spot with a wine-cellar feel.

Wonderful experience. Was our first time here. Food is unique and so delicious! It was hard to choose a favorite. But the bacon wrapped dates were unexpected and the warm salty-sweet combination was fantastic. As was the bacon-jam flatbread. Wine selection is great. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is quaint and intimate. Absolutely would recommend and will be back.

I came here fir a book signing. It was my 1st time here & the ordered appetizers were so good I ended up ordering the chicken sandwich & fries to-go. Great atmosphere & OUTSTANDING Customer Service! I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve “known of” this place for years, but just tried it myself for the first time today for lunch. It was great! Best burger I’ve ever had; my dining companions’ meals looked (and sounded) wonderful too. Pleasant, efficient service and a relaxed, uncluttered space.

My husband and I came here on Halloween night for our fifth year anniversary dinner date. We were super excited but left disenchanted by the end of the night. From the start things felt a bit off when we entered when I was greeted by the host with a “kitchen is closing at 7:30pm tonight”. I appreciate the statement but as a customer it’s not very welcoming when you enter in and are following what the website and menu states that your kitchen closes a hour before restaurant close. It makes your customers feel rushed out the gate. We made reservations for 7pm. It’s just a bit odd to change up rules at random. When we placed our order the server was a bit sassy with us when I asked for a sauce on the side on two dinner items. I’m a diabetic so I try to monitor that as much as I can I felt like I was inconveniencing him and I shouldn’t feel that way. The food was alright but we did have some issues. My husband mentioned that the risotto was undercooked and lacking in flavor. Chicken sliders were good. My steak took a very long to come out. Once it did – the Mac and cheese was cold. I’m assuming they plated it before the steak and didn’t time it right. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. I didn’t feel like waiting any further or have it reheated. The server did offer us a free cake which was kind but really not needed. This place is pretty expensive so I assumed the food would be accurate. But it felt like a rush job from the service to the food. Just so they could shut the restaurant down earlier. We won’t probably come again.

Nice wine bar, good selection of wines and spirits. In the heart of downtown Kirkwood, so sometimes parking may seem difficult. However there are public parking. Judi look for those signs. Lots of cool shops locally owned to check out before you go to One 19 North Tapas, btw, I also enjoyed a gin and tonic. Yes, order wine but they do have spirits if so desired!

Most of the food was delicious.
The ensalada One salad was very good but a tiny portion. Oven baked goat cheese was amazing!! Carnitas fries are a must try, so enjoyable. Bacon wrapped dates are totally worth trying something new. Carnitas flatbread was ok, I would not pick it a second time. Salted browny and ice cream was excellent. The fall bourbon apple cider was not good. The servers are very casual, certainly not a fine dining vibe. The place is chill, ok to go hang with a few friends.

Had some time to kill on a Monday in downtown Kirkwood waiting on a friend’s kiddo to finish lessons at School of Rock, so we stoped here for some tapas.
First, the space is very relaxed. It has the vibe of a wine lounge, without being stuffy. There’s a main bar to grab a cocktail, or booth seating and stand alone tables for parties large and small. Being just the two of us, it felt very much like date night! And the place was surprisingly busy for a cold January Monday night.
Our plan was to share several items and catch up. We started with the brussel sprouts and the bbq shrimp. The shrimp came five to the order with buttered toasted French bread. It sat in a cream sauce that we pretty much dipped everything in throughout dinner! The friendly waiter even brought some extra bread, which was a bonus.
The sprouts were cooked perfectly with a slight char. I thought they were just a tad bit oily, but my friend was in love with the dish!
We moved on to a cobb salad that was better than standard and an order of the seared tuna. The tuna came in a soy-based sauce and was topped with little pieces of avocado. The bites in the very center that were rare were the most delicious—mixed with some sesame rolled wasabi, perfection! One downside was the fish was overcooked at the ends. We let our server know as he checked in on us, just to make the kitchen aware and help them out. We didn’t expect him to discount the dish, but when he did—that was appreciated!
We ordered the dry rub wings for the youngster when he arrived, and he was kind enough to share with the table. And this turned out to be one of the favorite dishes of the night!
Wings at a wine bar— yes ma’am!!
We love shopping downtown Kirkwood and supporting the local restaurants. This place will he added to the short list for certain!

Service was okay, I have a feeling they didn’t make us a top priority table as we “look” young. The wine selection was nice. The Nashville hot chicken sliders were good but the chicken tacos and bbq chicken pizza were mediocre and overpriced. Glad we tried it but I’m not sure we’ll be rushing back.

I hate to give bad reviews because I know it takes a lot to run a business, but this place is trash. I do not know how it survived for 6 years on Main Street in downtown Kirkwood, and why it’s been getting raving reviews. I’ll let the photos speak for the quality of food themselves – we ordered chicken wings, and roasted brussels sprouts. The wings are not properly cleaned (you can see hair sticking out on the skin), and the brussels sprouts are so undercooked that they are crispy and bitter. Wings have no flavor whatsoever. My husband ordered an old fashioned, it tasted like they just put the cheapest bourbon and bitter in a dirty glass, and it cost us 13 bucks. Everything is so overpriced and poorly prepared.
