My family went for lunch today. The 2 gentlemen that we saw were working very hard. They never rushed us, treated us very well and kept drinks refilled. We got 3 different types of ramen, crab Rangoons and spring rolls. All of it was absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

Uncertain what to expect, pleasantly surprised as this restaurant broke the ice with cleanliness, soft jazz piano music gentle to the ear, and an inviting atmosphere. We were promptly seated at 16:30 mtn with a light early crowd of diners. We opened with crab ragoon, crisp salad and miso soup perfectly seasoned and presented. Our main entrees consisted of tempura shrimp and tabasaki don again nicely presented, piping hot and very tasteful. This is a pleasant treat and highly recommended . We will be back as there are many more dishes to discover, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and setting and most of all the food.

Drove from Mitchell to try this place out. Wish we didn’t live nearly an hour away! Food was amazing and fresh.
Service was top notch and friendly.
What a gem Kimball has in Ondori!

worth the trip ! we drove 45 minutes to eat here and it was definitely worth it and we will be coming here a lot more, only thing i don’t recommend is getting food to go because it’s not as good as sitting here and eating in. when i got carry out they separated our noodles from our broth so that was nice but our dine in experience was so great !! very nice and helpful staff who will answer any questions you may have, they have a big selection and i haven’t tried anything yet that i haven’t liked. they have lots of good drinks too that you can’t find anywhere else, im hoping they open up more locations so we can have one closer to us ! 10/10 love it here

A GOOD FOUNDATION
This Ramen shop has what it takes to be a killer location but it falls short on so many things. To start out, I will say that the Ramen tasted good. We got Gyoza, Miso Tonkatsu Ramen, and Shoyu Tonkatsu Ramen. The Gyoza tasted like the oil it was fried in was old. The Ramen on the other hand was very good. It was average $15 per bowl which is fair for the amount of protein and contents that were in it but I think I would prefer a smaller bowl with half the protein for $10/$12.
Now for the service… We drove 45 minutes to try this food and showed up 1:30 before the shop closed yet we were rushed in every aspect. Our waitress seemed like she was trying to get us out like they were closing early. This shop could put in the smallest amount of effort and turn this place into an amazing restaurant. Where it is now, it is very underwhelming. 2 stars.

I was home for the weekend for a class reunion. I hadn’t been back to Kimball for eight years. I had heard about the restaurant and its good reviews, so we decided to try it. Wow! Our waiter was helpful, friendly, and patient with our questions. He made several recommendations, which we followed. We started with drinks and an edamame appetizer, followed by various entrées, including lobster, fried rice, a Japanese curry, and a spicy tan tan. Everything was wonderful. Portions were huge and we left with “to go” boxes. The moral of the story is that people will always frequent restaurants that have good food.

We had dinner here to celebrate my bday. We ordered soft shell crab, takoyaki and agedashi tofu as starters and all tasted good.
As main, we had tantan ramen and tonkatsu ramen with pork belly. All tasted great too, even better than japanese resto in downtown denver. Just the meat of tonkatsu a bit hard.
Tried the hot sake and it tasted great too. Surely will come back again.

Worth the trip down to Kimball to try. So many menu options and flavors to explore. Great environment and decor. Service was next level with so much effort put into the dining experience being a positive one. It was very refreshing.

I found the ramen place on google map at the tiny town on our road trip to ND today and decided to give it a try. What a nice surprise!
Good service and good food. we ordered a spicy ramen and a poke katsudon, and fried calamari as starter. All dishes were well portioned, fresh and tasty. Recommend to stop by if you happened to be in this area in
