When they first opened the duck was perfect. A bit lack in flavor but it was still doable. Went back a few times n find the duck too over cooked. The pork strip lacks in flavor too n very dry

I didn’t find any reviews for this place so here’s one for the team. I want to love this place but I found it lacking in flavor. The lechon is neither Asian or Spanish. It seems like they took the strip of belly and threw it in clean oil. There is no marinating or particular spices that have been added. The meaty parts were hard and over fried. The char siu seems to be too thick and the sauce for it too thin. While I don’t recommend this place generally, if you’re looking for plain fried pork belly or beginner level duck or char siu – it’s okay. Prices are fine. Not too expensive but not cheap either.
Hope they improve the recipes. It’s better than I can do of course, but it isn’t the flavor or texture I was personally looking for.
