I discovered this restaurant on TikTok. My sisters and I are visiting from Maryland and Florida (here to surprise our mom) and I have to admit EVERYTHING was amazing from start to finish… The personal hospitality from the owners and our server was top TIER. Everyone enjoyed their food. 10/10… Highly recommend. A hugeeeee shout out to the employees who helped make this a memorable experience and took initiate to take our phones to record the reaction of us surprising our mom. I can’t thank you all enough… Keep up the phenomenal work!

As a 3rd grade homeschooled student, my mom has assigned me to leave my first google review after eating dinner at On Thyme on our vacation. I really loved my grilled cheese and fries from the kids menu. I was disappointed that there wasn’t any mayonnaise because that’s the only dip I eat. I loved how colorful the place was and the patio with the hand chairs. I hope we can visit one more time before we had back to Maryland so I can try the chicken bites.

I will never stop raving about this place – as soon as we walked in, the employees were super welcoming and friendly, such a cute fun vibe with good music, and let’s not forget how amazing the food was. Like 100/10! The hot chicken sandwich and boneless wings were SO tasty. Their hot honey is unique and delicious. I had the pleasure of lunching while in town visiting family at On Thyme and it was a great experience for everyone in our party. Be prepared, seating and space is currently limited but only temporarily because they are expanding. There is a cool vibe with great choice of music, but not too loud, and it’s child friendly.
Even though it was packed, we waited less than five minutes for a table. The staff was friendly and attentive, even the young black owner(s) were there working. Everyone was satisfied with their food – It was fresh, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly. The menu is versatile – there is something for everyone – Vegans, non-meat and non-seafood eaters, but especially seafood lovers like me. Oh, I’ll make time to come back!

I had an incredible experience at On Thyme! The Philly cheesesteak Egg rolls were absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside and packed with flavor on the inside. The wings were juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with bold, mouthwatering flavor. And the burger? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. What really stood out was their attention to detail—they used separate fryers to accommodate my shellfish allergy, which gave me peace of mind and let me fully enjoy the meal. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Can’t wait to come back!

We arrived and there was a 30 minute wait for indoor seating. We originally were going to sit outside but there were bees around the siting area. The drink menu has some fun options and the sweet tea is pretty good. I had the loaded queso fries and lemon pepper wings. The fries are a good portion to share with your table and the cheese is evenly melted. The lemon pepper wings were okay, just a bit too much lemon seasoning for me but the wing itself was cooked very well. A good crunch.

I loved my visit to On Thyme and can’t wait until I visit Wilmington again. The whole experience from the restaurant’ decor, to the service was a vibe. I don’t know who was in charge of the playlist but it only enhanced my experience. The food…..delicious!! The steak and cheese egg rolls were divine and the salmon bites were food-gasm good. Even though the business is under construction due to expansion, you wouldn’t have known it if you didn’t know it.

Me my wife, sister and brother came in today from Greensboro NC and was met with grace and a feel of home. The service was amazing and the food was hands down amazing, I love lemon pepper wings and when I say these were the best chefs Kiss!!!!! We will be back before we leave and I have to get some more dope pictures…!
