The Rochester airport has no airline or Centurion lounge, so if you want to fuel up befor your flight, it’s gonna cost you.
$56 for two Jameson’s with tax and tip. Hey, it’s the airport, that’s just how it goes.
On the Rocs is a cool little spot. The servers are always friendly. They’ll even give you a to go cup, I appreciate that.
They have a short menu with light fare. I didn’t eat this time, but in the past I’ve enjoyed their goodies.

Check out On the Rocs next time you travel. You can even do a little pub crawl and hit up the two other bars over by Concourse A.

Just walk into the airport and sat at the bar. I was asked what I wanted to drink, I said I’ll start with a water. She asked if I wanted a menu, I said not yet. Then was asked to leave. I have a four our wait for my flight. I had fully intended to eat and have several drinks but had just sat down and needed a few minutes.

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Horrible food, it’s all microwaved. Our food was delivered to the table, missing items, had to ask for drinks and our waitress was too lazy to look at our order to see what we actually ordered. What’s the point of ordering with a QR code. Also make sure you close out your tab or they automatically charge you 20% gratuity even though we tipped in cash. Seems pretty sketchy!

Its conveniently located and clean.
Prices are relatively cheap for an airport location. Perhaps you are better off with just a beer and no food.

The personal service was great. I only had a pretzel so I cannot rate the food. The bar tender mixed a fantastic Manhattan. The atmosphere is a bar in an airport. I will stop for a drink there on entry and leaving.

I’ve been waiting for my food for 43 minutes. Only a sandwich. The tickets automatically close and charge a 20% tip after 40 mins of “inactivity”. I just gave them $15 and haven’t even received my food yet. I’m hungry and need to catch a flight.

DO NOT GO AND MAKE THE $34 mistake i made.. See the other persons review below. They were dead on. Wish I saw his review before going there. I only looked after I left with my jaw on the floor with how bad it is to see if this place is as bad as I thought. $26 for two beers and with a forced 20% tip, $34. What a joke. Going to also email the main airport customer service as this is not right. Also, they have a scan code to order online and wish I did bc those prices were different and cheaper. Shut this place done!!!!

I think my sentiment will be similar to others about On the Rocs. Its effort to automate through an order and payment service, coupled with pretty bland food and high cost, made this a lousy experience.

The brief moment I saw the food runner was pleasant (they were nice), but the hassle of navigating such a crappy (and likely unsecure) order and payment process is irritating. That was an initial red flag I ignored, and when the food came out, It was doubly disappointing.

To top it off, $17 for a soggy, cold brisket burrito and $11 for a 8oz beer was pretty insulting. While I know there is not a lot of food options at the ROC airport, it’s a pretty big shame, and a bad look on the city. On the Rocs could and should do so much better! I fly through here a lot, and won’t be returning.

Food was bland plus over priced.
You order your food on the phone someone comes to drop it off and provides no waitressing service. We asked for water twice, never got it had to eat our $20 sandwiches with no drink. But when you order online they still ask for a tip.
Not worth it.

Honestly I would give it Zero stars. I came in early for a flight and I saw a few people sitting and I decided I was going to have a drink being that my birthday is tomorrow. As I went to sit down the lady said “ Sorry We’re Closed” at 5:50pm. The time states they close at 7pm everyday so that was interesting. As I walked away, I heard her mumble I mean I could serve you a drink as my back was turned. Just left a bad taste in my mouth and would not recommended especially with the type of service I received. I didn’t want food or anything simply a drink but they wouldn’t have known because she never asked just “ We’re closed” and decided to recant her thoughts as my back was turned which made me feel like you didn’t want to Serve me in the first place. 0/10 overall.
