Wonderful service and atmosphere! It was my folks 61st Anniversary and they gave them a wonderful dessert. Loved the food and they may have my favorite French fries in South Eastern Montana. I’m in Billings but will happily take a short drive to go back and eat their. Also kudos to the French Dip, blue cheese and steak sandwich and their house hamburger. Delicious on all accounts.

Food is excellent. You can tell there is real pride in the kitchen. I had the burger and the fish and chips, and everything from the house made fries to the sauces was spot on. Highly recommend.

Lamar did an awesome job on the scotch eggs. The sauce he paired with it put it over the top! If you are at on the rocks with a group it’s a great starter to share! One suggestion would to have a single scotch egg as a “bar snack” for those that want to enjoy this delicious starter but in a smaller size. Great job Lamar! Best scotch egg in billings metro!

Burger & bun were absolutely outstanding the fries weren’t crispy like I would have appreciated so far in my burger tour I think it’s the best place that’s relatively around Billings in my opinion. And they serve guinness!

the beauty of exploring- another local hidden gem- On the Rocks in Worden (Billings), MT- family restaurant where the chief comes out to say hi and goes above and beyond to make you happy – I honestly forgot when the last time I had a perfectly cooked al dente Alfredo with some garlic and added steak! unbelievably yammi! perfect place for a date, Superbowl or just any supper, lunch, you name it! truly caring service by gorgeous Shania and prices are more than reasonable! definitely will stop next time I’m on i90/ i94 in Montana!

Put this place on your radar. I was a little skeptical walking it. But man was I glad we gave this a try. I had the special of the night (Jambalaya) one the best I have had in a long time. My wife had the chicken fried steak, it was top notch as well. Homemade Cheesecake and Bread pudding finished it off. If your up for a short drive from Billings for some amazing food. On the Rocks is your place. We will 100% be coming back.

I’m appalled at the prices of this place! $23 for “shrimp Alfredo.” Literally a small bowl of over cooked pasta, 3 shrimp cut in half, broken sauce and no sides like salad or garlic bread even. This place is a rip off!

Service was very poor, went in around 1pm on Tuesday, maybe 4 tables being occupied. Took 25-30 to get 1 burger and fries, waitress forgot water and brought out order of fries first then 10 minutes later brought out burger. Then asked for ranch, never brought out. Still waiting on napkins. She brought out ticket with no ranch. Wow

We went in for our anniversary.. the waiter was outstanding! I was so unimpressed with the cooks in the back though. I ordered a taco salad, which looked delicious and I was stoked. I asked for ground beef on it, which the waitress did relay to them. It came out with chicken . I hate chicken so asked them to take it back as I asked for ground beef. It comes out again with chicken and beef. They had just added beef to the same plate instead of remaking it. I sent it back and at this point my spouse was done eating. It was super frustrating and disappointing. The waiter did her best to make up for it.. but I doubt we will be back. Oh well, it’s pretty over priced anyways.
