Social Profile:

Contrary to popular belief, there is more to Japanese food than Sushi, Tempura and Teriyaki dishes. The latest food craze to hit Japan is YOSHOKU style; a fusion of Western, Asian, and European cuisine, such as Indian curry, French and Italian pasta and rice dishes which the people of Japan have altered to suit their own particular tastes. On The Bridge’s unique cuisine style and variety is where the Eastern and Western styles meet. Enjoy! We also specialize on Japanese Sake and Craft Beer! There are more then 100 selections to choose from!

Curries & pastas are on the menu at this anime-decorated Japanese eatery with European influences.

Stopped in here for drinks before a movie. The service was great and they had a huge selection of Japanese beers and sakes to choose from. The bartender was really helpful in guiding our decision within that huge choice!

A nice new discovery for me at Japantown. The locomoco rice with curry sauce I had was presented perfectly and the taste was great. The service was prompt and efficient and I like the decor in the restaurant. I will recommend and definitely return for more!

Exceedingly nice staff and exceptionally delicious curry! Perfect flavor, balanced with the perfect amount of spice. The food came quickly, and was plated beautifully. Their sake was also really, really good. This place can’t be missed!

This cozy little spot ‘on the bridge’ offered a delicious dining experience with a super friendly (and funny) waiter. The Loco Moco was umami-in-my-tummy, ✔️. A gluten-free friend in our party was delighted to find something to eat as well in this otherwise gluten-forward part of town.

We came here as it’s one of the very few places that offer omu rice and they have such a large menu so it was really a must! Sadly, maybe because they were busy, but the omu rice took about 40 minutes and still came out a bit over-done, so that was disappointing 🙁 however, their gyoza is so delicious – i would highly recommend! it was so soft, fresh & very tasty. i wish i was able to get it all the time :’)

The most unique menu in all of jtown! I don’t know why i always ignored this hidden gem. The European dishes with a little Japanese twist are some of the best ones. I had gratin the first time i went and was blown away by the rice and tofu inside. I had okonomiyaki pizza the second time. People are very nice and prompt with your order. The drink selection is also amazing. I’ll be back to try more

If you are looking for overpriced Pan-Asian food this isn’t the place, this is as close as you can get to a typical small restaurant anywhere in Japan. I lived in Japan for 4 years and miss it everyday. I was excited that “On The Bridge” had such Japanese standard meals like Japanese pasta, and curry. The real standout besides the amazing food was the hard-working guy running the restaurant that day, he was super friendly and very fast with our food despite it being crowded. I would recommend this as a great place to experience real authentic Japanese dining in the U.S.
