I usually make the drive to Conway when I want OTB (2 hours from me) but I decided to try this location. The service needs a little work, starting with the host down to the waitresses. Me and my coworker visited twice, on a Saturday, before 3pm. They were not packed but the service was SLOW! The first time the hostess was so confused and said there was a wait due to shift change, in an almost empty establishment. The food was good but for some reason it was room temperature. The location appeared clean but everything was sticky. I’d probably revisit but wait awhile.

Food is terrible. We had the Mexican chicken the Queso chicken and a Beef Burrito with rice and beans. All of the rice was undercooked the cheese on the burrito tasted funny the beans were terrible. Worst Mexican food Ive ever had anywhere. Thats hard to do. How does you mess up Mexican food.

Really stoked when we came across this restaurant. 4 stars only because I don’t have one where I live and only been here once. If you love the chip brand you will love this place. Food was plentiful and delicious wasn’t a bad thing on our plate. The cheese dip was amazing!! Sometimes you go to restaurants and the dip is just watered down. This here was joy in every bite, food was amazing will go back again if in town and around the area!

Haven’t been since Covid when the experience was enough to keep us away since then. Glad to see the old “on the Border” is back. Seating was quick, service was great and selections were nice.

It is a shame that the Southaven location closed down a while back but I can guarantee you that the quality and atmosphere remains here. Our waitress, Jayla, was an absolute angel and very attentive to our needs. The store manager, Mr. Tony, was also a treat to talk with and discuss the corporate functions of On The Border. I know most of my high regard for this establishment might be because of my nostalgia but the long drive it took to get to this location was well worth it. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Mr. Tony and Jayla!

We were out and about running errands and decided to stop here for lunch. It was our first time, and we were instantly warmly welcomed by Ann. She is great! We were seated and brought some chips and salsa. SO GOOD! Light and crispy, and the salsa has a bit of heat, but just a little kick and a lot of flavor.
I was a little disappointed that they advertise having Pepsi Zero, but our server said they don’t have it. Oh well.
I ordered the chicken taco salad with the lime vinegarette and BF ordered the Borders Bowl with shrimp and avocado salsa. They were both excellent. Light and refreshing and perfect portion for lunch. Actually, we ended up taking some of it home. We filled up a little too much on the chips!
Our server seemed a little busy; he took awhile to get back to us sometimes, but he was very nice.
Our food was reasonably priced, and we were very happy to have stumbled upon this place. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place.

The food was spectacular. Service was exceptional. We got the Gran Papi and fajita chicken Chimichanga. The chimichanga was stated as the best ever tasted. The Gran Papi was delicious and a great variety, as well as huge.

With the loss of Don Pablos, On the Border is pretty close! The yellow queso is wonderful, and the entrees are excellent.

Sadly they do not have the Chocolate Lava Cake Don’s once served, but no restaurant has come close.

Only negative is they switched to Pepsi at some point after 2022, hope springs eternal that they go back to Coke!

Food was so good. Service was the best that I’ve had in a long time. Our waiter was amazing!!! Benny (with a Y). He was so personable, kind and truly made us feel like friends. Made the whole dining experience, IMO. Also, this guy does everything! Waiter, bartender, tortilla presser……you name it, he does it. We were in from out of town, in which we come to this area often, as our son plays baseball here. We will definitely be back.

Food was good but service was absolute trash. Waited 30 minutes before I got my drinks or even order our food. Waitress had horrible job skills and attitude.
