Everything here is so so good – I drive from Green Bay pretty much weekly just for the specialty donuts! The flavors change weekly & trying them all js fun. The cheesecakes are beautiful and delicious as are all of the other treats. Erin, the owner, is very nice to talk to as well – highly recommend stopping in!

I had stopped for some sweet treats once and the cheesecake was amazing! I had them do two small cakes for our wedding, one was a chocolate cake with salted Carmel and the other was a vanilla with strawberry filling. Both were very moist and a hit with the guest! Highly recommend and I will go back.

I ordered a small cake for my daughter’s wedding and sent a picture of what she wanted it like. I asked to have white flowers put on top, and the decorator put real flowers on top. It was just delicious. The frosting wasn’t too sweet. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, or anything they have to offer. I was told the cheesecakes are very delicious.

Had my daughter’s birthday cake made from here. We requested strawberry cake and mermaid theme. As you can see it was stunning and the flavor was great, the cake was moist. I also tried her famous cinnamon rolls and blackberry danish. 10/10. Her store is very cute and welcoming as well. Definitely the best bakery I’ve found in the area.

This was my first time ordering a birthday cake and cupcakes from here. I sent them several photos of cakes and basically told them to take a little from each one and make something. The owner was so friendly and the bakery is the first to be kid-friendly place..as a mom of young kids I love that!! Now onto the yummy treats…move over Cheesecake Factory—the cheesecake is made by the co-owners husband and it is delicious! The cheese danish also are quite delish and sell out quickly!! I drive through Francis Creek on a regular basis. On a Whim is usually closed. But lately, I noticed it was open so I stopped in. It took a while for someone to come out of the back room. I don’t think they expect a lot of business. But the gal was friendly. I checked out what was available and decided on a blueberry scone. It was delicious, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. One unique offering was a meat lovers pastry. There were various cookies and other pastries.
I liked the place and I will keep my eyes open to see if it’s open on my weekly trips to the area. If the quality of the scone was any indication there are other treats I would like to try.
So a repeat visit is on my agenda. If you’re traveling to Francis Creek it would behove to check this place out. Not much else there.
