This place is an absolute gem! If you’re looking for the gold standard of Gluten Free dining, look no further! We visited in early December after my husband’s drill. As someone with Celiac disease I’m always cautious eating out but I felt completely safe and accommodated here. Honestly, this was some of the best food I’ve had in years, gluten free or otherwise.
The fried chicken sandwich is the most “legit” I’ve ever had! The GF bun was incredible and I finished it in record time, I legitimately inhaled the sandwich I couldn’t stop. Also, they need to bottle that buffalo sauce immediately, I have no idea what they put in it but I want it on EVERYTHING! I meant to take a picture but I took a bite and it was gone before I realized !
I ended up buying one of every GF dessert because why not? That sweet potato cake was life changing. I went back and bought their entire remaining stock for the ride home after I tried my first bite! The staff makes you feel like family, and the food is world class. I told my husband his next drill he better bring me some of those back !

First, the customer service is top notch. The cashier was so friendly and everyone seemed to be in a great mood. The food was so good. Made to order so it was very hot and fresh. I got the catfish on the 4th ave and it came with greens and Mac&cheese on it. I had the onion rings and my son got the fries. They were both delicious. The lemonade and the citrus juice was good too. A little too sweet for me but I enjoyed it still. The cookies!! Get the cookies. You need the cookies even if you think you don’t. Get both the peanut butter and white chocolate pecan. Take them home heat them up about 10 secs and thank me later! Chef’s kiss and 10s across the board for me. It can get a little pricey if you keep adding stuff like me but it was worth it in my opinion.

Awesome food! Thick juicy burgers cooked exactly to your liking. Grilled chicken is a generous size cooked perfectly with great flavor without being dried out. The customer service is outstanding! Very friendly. Anything on the menu can be made gluten free as well. That also make their own juices and desserts in house. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been looking for a good burger spot downtown Bham and this hit the spot! The burger was cooked perfectly and was thick. I got the classic and it was delicious. Every menu item looks really good so I’ll be back. Looking forward to trying the chicken sandwich with the familiar yo mamas hot wing sauce.

Was going to order something boring and the owner convinced me to try something outside my comfort zone. Was the best food I can remember eating in recent memory, and the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. AND it was gluten free!!!

We went on Halloween night and the service was amazing! The staff were super friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh and I got full after eating only half of my meal. I will 100% be back not only because of the food, but because of the welcoming atmosphere as well! They even gave us candy! 🙂

First off I got the grilled chicken 2nd avenue style. The chicken was a chicken thigh and pimento cheese was made in house. The chicken was so juicy, and the onion rings were delicious. You can tell they take pride in what they deliver to you. I love Yo Mama’s and they put the same love in the product at On a Bun. I’ll definitely be back!
