Stopped in as it was local to my work and was happy I did. A friendly staff with a mix of great beer and food makes me hopeful to be back in the area sooner than later. The staff was attentive and quite friendly letting me try multiple beers as I didn’t know what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this place and it stands out among others with the interesting menu and selection of beers on tap!

Ever been to one of those places where you had zero expectations and were blown away? We had to head South from North Conway to return some stuff in the area. Usually we would hit up Revolution Tap Room but we just weren’t feeling it today. I Googled some joints around the Rochester area and found this gem. I looked at the menu online and it seemed to have some American items with a touch of Indian fusion. We drove another 15 minutes and went in around 3:30 on a Friday and glad we did. Let me start by saying this place hit a home run in all aspects: Food, Service, Cleanliness, Atmosphere, even the beer. My wife loved her steak sandwich, kiddo loved her fried chicken and she’s picky as hell, I went basic with the buffalo chicken mac and cheese with broccoli. I tried my wife’s and kids and both were great. The broccoli in my dish was not mushy it was the perfect consistency, my grilled chicken was moist and had a great earthen spice to it. The beers were excellent as well. Our waiter Yzen was attentive and friendly. I let the manager And family owner know how pleased we were with everything. We will definitely stop in again and next time be bringing back some cans of beer. Good job guys in today’s world of mediocre food/service you upped the bar.

Wasn’t expecting much from this place but was pleasantly surprised. Not a lot on tap but the variation is good. They have more in cans. A lot of seating in the area. The food was delicious. Steak had a good marinade on it, and my salad wasn’t swimming in dressing… could’ve used less cheese but this wasn’t bad. The rest of the party enjoyed their burgers.

My wife and I were in town visiting friends and after going to several other breweries this was my absolute favorite across the board.
1. The Beer: They have a huge selection of styles that hit many different categories. I tried nearly every one and didn’t find anything I didn’t like. Their hazy IPAs in particular were great! Their brewer is seriously crushing it.
2. The Food: Their food was incredible! It seems that they have a lot of Indian influence in some of their dishes. Man the Chaat appetizer was SO good. All their food was 10/10.
For sure check this place out!

The beer was very good. That being said, pretty choppy experience with service, the space and food. It’s tough not to compare them to Bad Lab (former tenant in this space). Service wasn’t terrible, but a tad confusing. Seating, to service, food timing, etc… Our waitress was friendly. I think some issues is the distance she needed to cover from bar to kitchen (opposite sides of a large space). It could be addressed with dedicated food runners. We ordered nachos and ribs at two staff members recommendation. My philosophy with food is “don’t try to re-invent the basics unless you know it’s 100% better than anyone’s standard expectation”. Nachos portion and appearance looked great, but cheese was grainy and flavorless. Ribs were cold & strange with a potent smelling Heinz 57 type sauce and pineapple chunks. I could see them working individually with tweaks, but not together. We brought about 50% home to get family members opinions. Same thoughts. The major difference in the environment was that the place was a little more livelier with more TVs and it was pretty busy. The place has a lot of potential. It wouldn’t be a place I would travel to regularly, but definitely a spot to grab a beer if we we’re passing through (20mins away).

Amazing food, beer, and service! Stopped in on the way home after a hike. Tried some great beers, I was very impressed with the sizing options and variety. I got a flight, which I love so I can try more! Ate the best fish tacos of my life. They also had really good vegetarian options (my boyfriend got the samosa sliders which were very yummy)! Service was great, everyone was very nice and attentive! Will be stopping again anytime I am up this way!

I can smell Spring in the air Seacoast Eaters!!! What about you???
Date night Saturday, brought my wife and I to a brand spankin’ new restaurant in an old familiar location. We talked it over, jumped in the car and headed over to Omnium Brewing at 460 High St in Somersworth (The former Bad Lab location Pic 1).
We were brought to our seats, given menus, water and a smokin’ hot potato sticks and peanuts mix(Pic 2) for a nibbler snack. After looking over the drinks menu, my wife decided on her go-to Vodka Collins and I ordered the Maple Banger(Pic 3). This drink was made of a concoction of Knob Creek Smoked Maple, lemonade, Sprite and Peach nectar. This was a unique combination for me and I found it to be enjoyable and quite flavorful.
For an appetizer, we ordered the small Cheese & Charcuterie Board(Pic 4). As usual, this board included a host of fresh local cheeses, meats, jam, honey, pickles, candied nuts, mustard and assorted crackers. This had great combinations of flavors and textures and was completely satisfying. The fact that this was a small, blew our minds.
We both looked over the extensive, 2-sided menu and had a tough time making a decision. My wife decided on the Omni Burger(Pic 5) for dinner. It was made with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, house pickles and Omni Sauce and it was served with an onion bun and waffle fries. Unbelievably fresh, juicy and incredibly flavorful….not to mention, huge. My wife loved, loved, loved this burger.
For my dinner, I ordered the Salmon(Pic 6). This beautiful piece of fish was grilled perfectly and set atop a fennel purée and served with seasonal vegetables, forbidden rice and accented with an orange miso sauce. It was a perfect choice. The salmon was seasoned just right and the flavors were fantastic.
It was heart warming to see this great, central location open again. Based on the number of people on hand, others are feeling the same way. Omnium Brewing is off to a roaring start. We were greeted warmly and our waitress, Caitlin, was unbelievable. She was so pleasant, cheerful and incredibly helpful. If this is an indication of things to come, there are great things in store for Omnium. Be sure to get them on your list. You’ll be better off for it.
Dine on!

We had high expectations since the last tenants were our absolute favorite, but Omnium totally passed the test. The food was amazing starting with the fried pickles and homemade ranch. I was a big fan of the glassware. The old fashioned’s were very tasty as well and appealing to the eye! Loved the tequila version.
Our entrees were the Omni burger and the jackfruit bbq sandwich. The Omni burger was a 10/10 and cooked perfectly mid rare. The jackfruit bbq had a lot of larger chunks and the sauce was on the sweeter side. My only critique of our meal was to shred the jackfruit more if possible. But as a vegetarian, I absolutely love having more options than the standard veggie burger that’s on most bar menus ❤️ Our fries were fabulous and perfectly crunchy.
We really loved the service and being back in this space. So exciting to see them actually brewing in the back again as well! We will look forward to trying the sour beer when it’s back on the menu. I’d love to see some art or murals to differentiate the space from the previous brewery. Best of luck and can’t wait to come back!
Edit:
Revisited 2/23/23 and was a bit disappointed . We tried the falafel burgers and they were almost inedible 🙁 we were also served an odd little dish of chips. Will probably try one more time during the summer to sit on the patio.

Got there at 6 and my food arrived at 8:15. It was a long wait. There wasn’t much communication about it but I gather they were short staffed in the kitchen. The food was good but only half of the menu was available, I wish I had been told that when I put my name in. I probably won’t go back until they are fully staffed. I was there for 3 hours and 15 minutes total. That’s a bit much

THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!! I need everyone to know about this brewer and go immediately!!! The beer is fantastic but the real stand out was the food. ONLY because how often to find good food at a brewery…. Never!!!!! We had delicious flights and every single beer was so good. We bought a bunch of cans to bring home.
The Indian flare on the menu is amazing. The Indian street chaat is so fresh and delicious. The curry wings were so unique and I need the recipe. The thing that was a real standout was the spinach artichoke dip. It was hands down the best dip I have ever had. Please go here. Please support this business. Somersworth NEEDS TO KEEP THE BUSINESS AROUND!!!!!!
Oh and the brussel sprouts!!! Too much to write about.
