I visited OMG Squee yesterday, and it was such a fun experience! The shop itself is super cute and welcoming, with a playful vibe that makes you want to try everything on the menu. I ordered the ube taiyaki sundae, snickerdoodle mochi donut, mango mochi donuts, and ube macarons. Everything was so delicious! The taiyaki was definitely my favorite! It was soft, and the warm fish-shaped waffle paired perfectly with the creamy ube ice cream, making every bite comforting and satisfying. The ube macarons were rich and flavorful. The snickerdoodle and mango mochi donuts both had a strong sweetness to it that felt a little overwhelming. I probably would order them by themselves next time-just to avoid sugar overload ( but maybe that’s just me getting older and not being able to handle sugar the way I used to!). Overall, it was such a treat, and I’d definitely go back to try more.

I ordered the Hongkong Milk Tea to see whether it’s similar with the HK Milk Tea I used to drink back in Malaysia and it is! so its an authentic experience . My husband also liked the Caffe Ube, he finished it so fast. The Sesame Strawberry mochi also is really good and def something unique, will go back for it.

Everything is not too sweet. It’s usually hard to impress me, especially for Asian foods/drinks in the U.S., but this is my new fav dessert place in town! Oh, I also like their artsy Asian culture inspired souvenirs!

Also, I’m so curious with the owner, a quick Google, and I found out she’s on Netflix show Queer Eye Season 6! Such a wholesome episode, and she looks so precious and humble

First of all, the shop was so cute and pink. And second of all, the donuts are soooooo cute!! I’ve never heard of “butter mochi” donuts before, only ever having regular Asian mochi donuts so this was definitely new and diff!! The texture was more pastry-doughy than the Asian ones. It wasn’t overly sweet either. I couldn’t really taste the Thai tea in mine unfortunately.. but it was cute! I’d love to try tbe taiyaki ice cream next time 🙂

I loved my soft serve takoyaki sundae! The ube ice cream they used was DELICIOUS and I ate every last bite. The texture of the donuts was unique and not my favorite (just a personal preference). But my mom loved them, and the flavors were pretty great! The person at the counter was incredibly friendly towards us. Definitely give them a shot, ESPECIALLY if you love some good soft serve ice cream!

Ice cream / donut shop on the east side. Ice cream was more dense than normal soft-serve delivering a luscious texture . The taste was indistinguishable between flavors (cereal milk and ube). Donut was vegan and to be fair it tasted like a vegan donut. I wouldn’t call this shop amazing. Glad I tried but was not impressed.

Omg this place is SO FUN! The ube ice cream is so good that it’s the only thing I get when I come here. Actually the first time I went we had friends and also tried the black sesame ice cream. It’s very good, but not as good as the ube (in my opinion). I get it with a tayaki and it’s warm and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and it’s become one of my favorite things in Austin.

Might be some of the best soft serve in Austin, and I love the Asian twist on it. They rotate their flavors frequently and every one is usually amazing (ube and chai?? wow). You can get it in a cup or in a taiyaki style cone. Plus their donuts are cute

My favorite bakery in Austin! Whenever I’m in town I ALWAYS go here! I stopped in this past Saturday and got my favorite sweet treats – their donuts! I highly recommend coming here. You can order anything off the menu and I guarantee it will be good! Plus, the staff is always very friendly!

One of the best dessert shops in Austin! The shop is cute and the staff is amazing, welcoming, friendly, and gives great recommendations! The ube soft serve and their other rotating flavors are all fantastic. The mochi donuts are the best in town. Go for their changing menu and you will always find something you will love in there.
