We arrived here to get some lunch. We were able to quickly find a seat as it was a little late for lunch. Our server quickly came over and took our drink order and then waited patiently for us to order our food. We ended up getting an omelet, steak and cheese, and a house salad. The omelet did not disappoint, which it better not because it is the omelet Cafe. They give you huge portion of grits with it. You won’t go away hungry. The steak and cheese sub was okay. Nothing spectacular. The house salad was adequate and mostly iceberg lettuce. The dressing lack flavor which was ranch. All in all, not too bad.

The food is really good, I LOVE the waffles with wings. The only thing that was weird for me is that I paid $2 extra for whipped cream and they didn’t give me $2 worth, it was like two little sprinkles and it melted straight into the waffle. It still tasted good but girl dont make it $2 for more if u gonna serve me $0.50 more. You know? Whatever tho, expensive but good. What got me was that other people who got whipped cream on their waffle had way more so idk why they felt different for me but they probably did give a lot more regularly.

I think this is the 1st 2 I’ve given and I feel bad but this is only our opinion.
Positives: Our waitress was nice and accommodating. She heated our syrup, that we requested. My grits were good and pancakes were fine
Other: To named the omelette Cafe, that was the item I didn’t like at all. We were not fans of the sliced cheese used for the omelette and scrambled eggs. My omelette was soggy. We asked for butter and were told all they had was the smart balance. Cleanliness was not the best either.
They seemed to have plenty of pick up orders so they must be doing something right. Just not for us.

So I ordered the shrimp po boy with fries. The service was fast and friendly. I waited literally about 10-15mins and received my order. The sandwich was steaming hot, however, the fries not so much. It’s pretty much an open floor, seat yourself, cozy little restaurant. The food was pretty good, too.

UPDATE: 10/09/24 – Ms. Lea (???) – a blonde waitress made sure this place lost our business by telling me to leave the booth and go stand at the front and wait.
The food is always great, the service is caring, but don’t expect a fancy atmosphere. They make up for it in taste, prices, and great staff!

Worst omelette I’ve ever had! The egg was thinner than a crepe, leaving a huge pile of meat and cheese. Potatoes were overcooked. And I didn’t get the toast with my order.

We were there for over an hour and everyone else at the table got there meal before I did. I order a 6 piece teriyaki chicken wings, I had to get them to go and when I looked at them, there is really nothing to eat…. I will never be back to this location and I will not give it a good review for and of my friends and family. I’ll tell them to go to the one in Hinesville or Savannah
By the way… When we got home the chicken wings where very cold and they shouldn’t have been. And the teriyaki sauce tasted very burnt and I was only 3 pieces out of a 6 that were edible.the chicken wings that were edible were over cooked to.
