I had a fish special . COD, fries,coleslaw ( which is really good), and tartar sauce. I also had a soup ( tomato cabbage)with a bread. That coleslaw is amazing!! I needed a bigger portion of it.
Service was wonderful. They play music while u wait and while u eat! I enjoyed the music. I was in my food glory.

Looking for a MKE staple? This is the place. They serve whatever you want whenever you want it. This place has been around for over 30 years for a reason. There is nothing trendy about it but you will leave stuffed and happy. Prices are slightly higher than what they were known for but so is everything else. Everyone liked their meals and the service was very good. I had the baked cod. It was very large and tasty. The other two had the fish fries with shrimp and like them a lot. Your meals also come with a dessert which is nice. You can’t go wrong at this place. If you’re a person who feels like you need to eat everything on your plate you should get a senior meal so you’re not wasting. There is plenty of parking and it is handicap accessible. The decor is very pleasant also. If you’re gluten-free they’re very good about letting you know what you can have.

Omega on 27th is an all around YES when choosing a restaurant in the Milwaukee Area. Basic description: A Greek sit-in restaurant, plentiful in booths and tables, whether Sunday brunch or random weeknight. Here are the reasons why I recommend Omega on 27th:
1. LOTS of seating
2. Seating usually pretty darn fast, even when busy
3. A great big range of food options, breakfast- lunch- dinner, everything from Greek Salad to Chicken Shishkabob, Italian pastas and carbonera, Mexican fajitas to tacos, fish fry, stir fry, omelettes, pancakes…..the selection is wide and diverse.
4. Big portions – a Greek restaurant thing 😉
5. Pies in the front bakery case!
6. Pricing is affordable- low to moderate, depending on the entree.
7. Some of entrees come with a sides and a desert, for example, mashed potatoes and tapioca pudding. Large selection of side orders.
8. This place has has been around a while. Accessible parking lot.
9. Waitstaff very efficient for the number of tables to be tended to.
Takeaway- the amount of Greek restaurants has greatly diminished around the Milwaukee area. If you want reliability, large portions- a wide variety of Menu choices, and to be seated fast- Omega will do the job!
I give 4-stars bc technically it’s a average neighborhood place, not formal fancy place, and the area of town is the commercial district, run of the mill 27th St, not a upscale part of town.
But, I give 4-stars in the category of yo’ basic restaurant living up to (and beyond!) preferred restaurant attributes. I highly recommend.

Loved it here! Used to come here as a kid before we moved up north. It’s been more than 20 years but it did not disappoint! Food was excellent, service fantastic and portions as giant as I remember.

I was at a mega café yesterday Am I honest reading is not that good the service was amazing but our food seemed packaged for a very long time and I ordered a Nutella stuffed French toast and it came with cream cheese instead, and it was very dirty inside the bathrooms did not look good at all. There was a cricket in one of the bathrooms. I would never come back to this place ever ever again I would rather choose sweet diner. and it was very overpriced. It was not OK.

The staff here are all phenomenal. They are powerhouses. Every time we are here, we are treated with warmth, accuracy and promptness. The owner should be proud of how hard working and genuine everyone here is. We’ve been coming here for a couple years and every time our meal is served quickly, accurately and with care. Never have we had a bad staff experience. Today our server was Pam and she did and excellent job managing a full, crazy lunch hour along with her colleagues. We are amazed at how quick and careful the service is even when nearly every table is filled.
As far as food goes, the menu is extensive and just about everything we’ve tried is very good, satisfying and plentiful. The prices are fair and everything comes fresh and at perfect temperature and good presentation. We can tell the chefs take pride in making the meals here as much as the servers take pride in providing excellent service.

The food I got was very good. I’m knocking a star off the overall because they didn’t have the dinner I wanted; it was no longer on the menu. To be fair, it’s been a few years since my last visit. They’ll get 5⭐️ on my next visit, there will be a return visit, when I’m no longer annoyed.
