They changed their menu since the last time we were there (it had been awhile). Scaled it down but still had some of our favorites. Brisket sandwich was fabulous.

When they first opened the food was good but it has gone downhill and we won’t eat there anymore. On my burger, the bacon was black burnt, my onions still had the skin on them, and the bun was burnt. On the reuben the meat was dry as can be, you could see it clearly and it should have bever been served, was probably really old. The onion rings were soaked in grease. The cheese curds were hard and dry, probably old as well. The food took 45 minutes to be ready even though half of it was stale and old and it was just burgers.

1st time eating dinner here. It was absolutely fantastic. I had the 8 Oz sirloin cooked to perfection. My husband had a massive ribeye. The thing was a monster. He said a great steak and he could barely finish half. We also ordered food to go for the kids and it came out just as we finished our meal. Best mini date after a great weekend back home. Thanks to Rachel and Connie for the spectacular food.

At O’Meara’s and Two Doors Down, dining becomes a memorable experience. Connie, is the heart and soul of this incredible place. Her warm hospitality makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food that steals the show—especially the T-bone steak. Cooked to perfection by Rachel, it’s succulent, flavorful, and truly a carnivore’s delight. Every bite showcases the care and expertise that goes into the preparation. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a fantastic vibe, and an owner who genuinely cares about your experience, O’Meara’s and Two Doors Down is your go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Always great food, beverages and service. The burgers and steaks are fantastic and the wait staff is always prompt and very friendly. Add the cozy and comfortable atmosphere and it is definitely worth the trip to Dow City!

Ordered delmonico and got a sirloin that was over cooked, all but burnt on one side. It’s served cut up and dry. Very disappointing. Waitress nice but not asked how food was. Very loud in bar area.

Excellent atmosphere, Great food and great people. Warm and welcoming, exactly how a small town establishment should be! Love the Steaks as they come home grown!

They have a nice selection of drink options with the full bar and the atmosphere is nice for an evening. The prices are a little on the higher end for a little town, but I believe you’re paying for the atmosphere and the convenience of not needing to drive out of town to have a few drinks. We also like that you can get appetizers with your drinks.
They also often have different tournaments for games or activities for adults to join in on the weekends. It is a very nice place to go and next door they now have a restaurant to start at first and then move here to keep enjoying the night.
