It’s a chinese and Japanese sushi buffet with Mongolian BBQ. The food looks good. But the breaded chicken is mostly all bread. It’s not much chicken inside the chinese dishes. The waiter repeatedly offered water refills to 2 at our table but not for my cup. I felt repeatedly ignored . The buffet had many options. The taste was okay. It could be better. There is a good variety of dishes and desserts to choose from. The place is clean and very affordable.

So, 1st time there and last time…food was ok, it was warm not fresh or hot, at least what I had. The sushi was ok, idk tasted off , idk just not as fresh. Cooked mussels were cold, they were ok. Shrimp was hard to peel, frog legs were tough and cold. Halibut was good, duck was tender but skin was rubbery. We weren’t impressed. We didn’t try the other foods as I was full and idk my stomach wasn’t feeling it. Fruit was sweet at least. But, unfortunately for the price we won’t be back.

Not only is this place beautifully decorated but it’s also fabulously lit with vibrant colors surrounding the seating area to the right of the entrance! I absolutely love that they offer raw, cleaned, freshly shucked oysters on ice in the oyster section. I even love how all the food is fresh, well seasoned, and deliciously flavorful! The service is always amazing and accommodating. This was my boyfriend and I first time dining here and we are hooked! I absolutely love how there is a large variety of shrimp variations and I love that they have a fresh fruit bar section! Thanks for the delicious food! I highly recommend this buffet!

I loved the vibes. They should make it through out the whole restaurant and maybe add a patio area. Everything was nice and clean. I was upset about the lack of co2 in my coke. Otherwise great experience. And they kids loved it.

I’m giving this restaurant one star, and that’s only because the snow crabs had good flavor, even though they were cold. We paid $30 per adult and arrived around 4:00 PM for dinner, yet none of the food was fresh. The limited food that was available tasted old. The fried items were extremely greasy and completely flavorless—not even basic seasoning like salt or pepper. Aside from the cold but seasoned snow crabs and the fruit punch, everything else was disappointing. For the price, I expected much better quality and freshness. The scenery was beautiful

Was hesitant about Ombu buffet because of the reviews. But it did not disappoint, everything was spectacular. The ambience of the decor was outstanding. Was crowded on a Saturday night with little kids running around but that didn’t stop me.
There was so many choices in this buffet ranging from sushi to garlicky crab legs. Definitely a bang for your buck. Even one self serve tea station was such a niche idea! The passion tea was super refreshing.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Heard about this place and took an almost two hour drive to check it out today. Upon arrival, there was a note on the door that they were closed today. So I wasted 4 hours of my day driving there and back for nothing. No google update about being temporarily closed or anything. Never imagined to arrive to this problem. I wasted one of my last days in Louisiana trying to come here.

I went in today around 12:45 pm. The cost was 17.45 for one with drink . The food I selected was cold not warm. The only thing warm was the soup. The fried chicken wings were cold and the meat was dry and over cooked . Greenbeans, mushrooms, cauliflower was also cold and looked to be sitting for a while. The general taso chicken was so dry you couldn’t cut it with a knife. The sushi appeared to have been sitting for a while as well because the avocado was brownish…. I didn’t eat any of course. Maybe it was a off day but I was not impressed with any of the selections I made. I will probably not return here to eat again. MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET ANOTHER COOK AND BETTER WARMING TRAYS FOR YOUR FOOD.

Out of every buffet I’ve ever been to, this restaurant by far has the greatest selection and taste. A bit pricey but it’s far worth it for the experience alone. Great food, great service. I commend this place for all the above.

Arriving here i didn’t read any reviews for an unbiased take on this place and I came out impressed. Not only does it have a wide range of food, it’s sushi is very nice for the price. You get non-slimy decent sashimi and oysters. The crab legs aren’t anything like Las Vegas but for 35 dollars im not going to complain.
