I happened upon this place while in the area at the YMCA. Checked reviews and decided to give it a go. Don’t blink or you will miss it. It’s tucked on the cor er of Goodfellow and Page. It was dark but there was a spot right in front. When I walked in, I was surprised that there is just an abundance of stuff to catch your eye…groceries, clothing, movies..etc.
Back to the food. You order at the counter then wait about 20 mins. I sat in my car scrolling through my emails and 20 mins passed quickly. Lots of traffic in and out the store but it looked like most people were picking up their orders. My food was ready in less than 20 and was waiting in the back when I came back in and proceeded to the back to hand the woman my ticket. I ordered a small loaded potato and it was almost $15 but worth every bite. Comes with chicken and shrimp, mushrooms and a variety of onions and peppers. Loaded with cheese and I ate EVERY bite!! Will definitely return!

I really wanted to like them from the pics & the reviews. The neighborhood is in the hood…doesn’t scare me. The place is like most neighborhood places…unkempt, dirty, shady etc but sometimes the run down places have the best food….as you can see from the pics, they barely gave me any fries & some of them tasted old…like when your potatoes are going bad…it was horrible…the sandwich in my opinion is small…not like the pics I saw…but it is good…well seasoned but not enough toppings..it’s not worth the price…it was my 1st & possibly last time going….I didn’t even try the other food we got yet….I’ll let y’all know….

Hands down the best loaded baked potato I’ve ever eaten. Their chicken strips and Fries are pretty awesome also. I have not had a bad meal from this place the owner Omar is awesome and besides food lots of daily items you need for household living. Would definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the St Louis area.

I was so psyched to try this place after seeing all the good reviews, and I had a twenty-minute wait at the bus stop, so I planned to have lunch there. I grabbed a can of soda and a bag of Riplets, then went to wait to order. It took me a moment to read the sign saying to order at the register up front. I ordered–I thought I’d try a Polish sausage since it would be easy to eat at the bus stop–but I didn’t have time to wait! So I told the folks behind the counter to please give the Polish sausage to whoever would take it. I hope I’ll get a chance to try them, though! Cashier was very kind to everyone in the store. I noticed that pork is not served if that’s an important criterion for you. Go when you have time to wait, because I highly suspect it’s worth it!
