We live close to the Greenville Mall so we visit from time to time, and we have appreciated the food court for its unique offerings. This time around, I wanted something American. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato, cheese sticks, and a small blue raspberry lemonade. After placing my order and paying, I realized that they had a sign saying to try their cheese sticks, with a photo of the Farm Rich mozzarella sticks you can buy at the store. After paying () for the cheese sticks, I felt that I could have bought a box at Walmart or something, because that price point was a little high for 6 cheese sticks. The cheeseburger was really good, but for the size, I think it was not worth the almost $6 that it cost. It also came to me like the photo that I posted, with a little chunk ripped off and put on the top. I thought that the blue raspberry lemonade was really good. Overall, I paid $16.37 for the whole meal and feel a little silly for having paid that much.

So, when it comes to the ‘Merican classic, Omar’s is BOSS level in its simplicity and delivery. The meat succulent and juicy, the bun soft, pillowy and warm, the condiments simple and satisfying. And, if there is anything better than the cheeseburgers on the menu, it is the fries. The seasoning and careful preparation brings you back to when short order cooks were considered chefs and took pride in the food served to their patrons. Thank you to the staff of Omar’s for serving foodites like me for decades past and decades to come…

Food is great but just know. NO REFILLS on drinks. You have a buy a whole new drink. You only get about 12oz of drink. Also thier are NO SIGNS telling you this. Other then that food is great.

I gave Omar’s another try and this time I got the double cheeseburger instead of the cheesesteak. It was phenomenal!! So cheesy and so juicy! So Good! Fries were hot and tasty. The blue raspberry drink is so good!! The Cookies were freshly baked and delicious. The only thing that I didn’t like was the price. It was $12.99 for the combo.

This place has been one of the best places for a burger in Greenville for 30 years. The only place in the world (Literally) to get a cheeseburger or cheesy cheesesteak on pita! The seasoned fries are so tasty!
