If I could give this place 10,000 stars I would! My husband and I visited this restaurant by chance when we were visiting Sacramento. The staff were absolutely AMAZING. The food was the freshest best tasting food I’ve ever had. (And I’ve been all over the country) I tried things that I would have never ordered at a restaurant. They also served me things that I usually don’t like but I liked it when they made it. If you have the opportunity go and have the Omakase experience. Thanks again everyone! Don’t forget to ask about their $10 caviar bumps

I loved this place! The food was exceptional, the service was great, and the overall experience was phenomenal. This is a must-try if you are looking for fresh, flavorful dishes. Each course is skillfully prepared with both taste and presentation in mind. The sauces in each dish were the highlight of the meal. I’d also highly recommend ordering the soup and the smores. The inside of the restaurant has a lively, but intimate feel. I would recommend this place for couples or small parties. Expect to spend a couple hours here if you order the coursed dinner, so relax and enjoy your time. For reference, my dinner reservation was at 6pm and we did not leave until about 9pm.

This place is amazing!! Every dish is a work of art. The staff can tell you every ingredient and where it came from. I am Mexican and they have traditional dishes, but different than I’ve ever tasted. If you are looking for a dining EXPERIENCE, this is the spot! Can’t wait to go back!

Not your average strip mall restaurant. I was mostly curious about the fusion but ended up being really impressed by this place. The care to the flavor combos was absolutely incredible. The guacamole was next level and the yellowfin tostada was hearty and delicious. With a beer I was more than satisfied for a hearty lunch.

We had the full Omakase experience and were blown away. Food was delicious, filling, gorgeous and each one different than the other. The sake pairings were SO good!! Chilled and crisp! I didn’t even know I liked sake! Loved every minute of it, we will be back.

Best restaurant experience in Sacramento area. Very creative chef with an excellent menu. Omakase for dinner was one of the best experiences of my life. Second trip here first for dinner. Cool atmosphere, bar top or tables. Excellent service. You must try it.
The chef’s dishes were beautifully assembled with an excellent fusion of ingredients.

Light colored interior with a cozy feel to it. All the plates were amazing all be it a little small. Each dish was wonderfully crafted and you can tell passion was put into each item they prepared. The service was top notch taking care of everything we needed and the waiter was very versed in each dish. It was a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion 5/5 definitely need to try.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality of Maitre D’ Alex and the staff. The birthday note and bubbles were a warm welcome, and we started off with some oyster shooters, which went great with the ponzu. We decided to go omakase and trust the chef, which was a great decision. Our six courses this evening were a snow crab roll with a peanut mole rojo, hokkaido scallop with coconut cream, peppers, and edible flowers, tuna tartare with aioli, pickled onions, and roasted corn, a salmon ceviche tostada, chili verde octopus, and BBQ albacore with slaw. It was hard to pick a favorite, as each course was so creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the wine. If I had to go with one, I’d probably say the scallop. The surprise hit was that normally my friend and I aren’t huge on octopus, although we had never had it prepared anything like this. It was tender, flavorful, and had a slight char. Not rubbery at all, like my previous experience at other places that did not cook it well. We would gladly eat everything again, although we look forward to coming back and seeing what new combinations Chef Jeana comes up with. If you’re deciding between the sake and wine pairing, we would recommend the sake. Nothing against the wine, but it was very fun to expand our horizons with a variety of sakes that you would be hard pressed to find at your local sushi bar.

What an amazing restaurant!. We did the tasting menu and everything was absolutely delicious. I think you can’t go wrong with anything you might eat here. There were a few things that might have had some meat in them and as a pescatarian they made sure that they accommodated me.

My review is mostly related to flavor. At this establishment I experienced dishes that were unbalanced and pretentious. Perhaps I just don’t enjoy Japanese/ Mexican fusion. Maybe I am a purist. Either way, the food felt like it was catering to people who wanted a fancy experience but don’t know what real high end food tastes like. The dishes looked beautiful but the flavors were unbalanced. After three dishes, I left hungry and went and bought a bahn mi afterwards at the Vietnamese spot nearby. Their bahn mi looked like a disaster so I cancelled my order. Somebody put this place out of business, maybe put a real sushi place right here.
