Chef Yun and his staff were absolutely amazing and professional. The passion amongst every individual here shows in their work and I loved everything about my experience! The menu is wonderfully thought out with flavors and textures of all kinds. The fish is exquisitely fresh and melts in your mouth. It is crazy how Chef Yun can make things like a humble steamed egg taste so elevated and warm. I usually don’t treat myself out to meals of this caliber but this is a must try.

We were so excited to try Omakase by Yun – after a (minor) scheduling mishap, the restaurant was very helpful and accomodating, and we were finally able to go and the experience was amazing. The level of service is impeccable and the courses all have an intriguing mix of flavors and ingredients, while also incorporating classic techniques. We really enjoyed Chef Yun’s descriptions for each course. We have been to other Michelin-starred Omakase restaurants in Atlanta, and we would put the experience here up there with those. Highly recommended!

My experience at Omkase by Yun was absolutely phenomenal. I took my wife there for her birthday, and from start to finish, it was perfect. The staff was incredible—so warm, friendly, and fun. Even made me a specific cocktail that wasn’t on the menu u that we perfect! They really made the atmosphere feel relaxed and welcoming, which was a surprise (in the best way) since I always thought omakase would feel super formal.
This was our first omakase experience, and we were buzzing about it until the next morning. The food? Just wow. Every piece of nigiri melted like butter. Chef Sonny was amazing—he helped us pronounce every item on the menu (thankfully!), and never made us feel out of place.
If you’re on the fence, go. This place is something special.

We’ve been to a number of omakase around the world, and this is absolutely top. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are top notch. There is a very small but tight-knit community of omakase chefs who deserve to be recognized as leaders, and Yun is one of the select few.

A good time was had by all, yet again, at Omakase by Yun. I have been to this place several times but never had the pleasure of being served by Chef Yun until my most recent visit. He did not disappoint. Food is amazing and service is impeccable. Best Omakase in the metro area, IMO.

Omakase by Yun is by far the best Omakase restaurant I’ve ever been in United States. Modern sushi places just fill their sushi with other fancy stuff to spike the price and forget that it’s still “sushi” and its core ingredient. However, Chef Yun’s nigiri is at his core and he is fine-tuning it from there.
If you want something to just disappear as soon as you put it in your mouth, this might not be the right place for you but if you appreciate the value of finding flavors within the flavor and its ingredients, you will find an unique food journey here

I have been dining with Chef Yun since 2021. His omakase is my favorite in Atlanta for many reasons: very high quality food, reasonable pricing, authentic Japanese technique, laid back atmosphere, personable and attentive staff (big shout out to Crystal and Stella!), and Chef Yun pays close attention to my ‘no wasabi’ preference. In all four years of dining with him, there has never been a piece of fish that accidentally included wasabi. His focus and detail-oriented service is top tier.

Chef Yun, Stella, and Crystal are all phenomenal. You are lucky to be able to dine with them! I can’t wait to see when they get their first Michelin star.

This was the experience that I’ve always wanted. The chef was knowledgeable about the food, history, and was even personable! The food was exquisite and more than enough. This will not be the last time they see me.

Omakase by Yun is hands down my favorite restaurant in Georgia. I’ve been to many omakase spots in both Georgia and NYC, and Yun truly stands out. The vibe is refreshingly unpretentious yet elevated, with a team that makes you feel completely at ease. The courses are creative, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. The sake pairing guidance was spot-on, making the experience even more special. I also loved the music — a chill, hip-hop jazz playlist that gave the whole evening a laid-back, cool energy. Every detail, from the food to the vibe, was so well-curated. If you’re looking for an unforgettable omakase experience that nails both service and soul, this is it.

I honestly cannot say enough about this amazing place. We ate the most delicious and creative food that we had had in a long time. The service was incredible, every single person working there made us feel welcome and cared for. I did the sake tasting, and it was hands-down the best sakes I have ever had. My husband had a Yuzu ginger wasabi cocktail that we will be trying to re-create at home. The thing that stands out for us besides the food is the incredible price point. That alone makes this restaurant accessible to us and we are grateful!! We cannot wait to go back!
