Came in on a Sunday night around 8 PM and ordered three items. The service was super quick and the portions were very nice. I got the seaweed salad, the sea salt, edamame, and the king triton roll. They were all really good.

I went to Omakase for lunch after a nearby appointment. The ambiance was delightful, the staff was welcoming, but the food was merely average. I ordered the lunch sushi plate, which includes 5 sushi pieces, a California roll, and a choice of soup or salad. The sushi pieces were smaller than any I’ve had before (even on lunch menus elsewhere); the fish slices were quite thin, and the rice balls seemed to be about half the usual size. Perhaps this is just the lunch portion? I can’t say for sure, but maybe you should give it a try yourself.

This is our local go to for Asian cuisine. My daughter loves the cucumber roll, gyoza and miso soup. I have tried a few of the specialty rolls, fried rice and the ramen. The lunch specials are also great! Today I tried a seasonal spicy tuna salad and it was delicious!

This place is 10/10!! My first time trying and it did not disappoint. I got the tonkatsu ramen and garlic edamame. My husband had the spicy cream chicken. My daughter had a tempura shrimp roll. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. We will be back to try something else new on the menu.

We order delivery and come in-person regularly. My go-to is the Executive Roll, adding cream cheese. It’s easily a 5/5 experience everytime and I am so glad I found Omakasa and to have a solid sushi option in Riverview! Service and Atmosphere inside also gives you that Japan vibe!

I must say i was first impressed by the sign. Entering the restaurant, i was a little confused by the format but the service kindly took me to my seat! Our server for the rest of the night was Jonathon. He was well informed, professional, and did a great job!
THE FOOD: the “orgasm roll” as titled was very tasty and a good combination of fish. It melted in your mouth, stayed together, great combination.
The udon noodles were tasty and fresh! Really enjoyed the portions and presentation. Likely my favorite out of the three.
The general tso’s chicken was very saucy but the breading lacked enough season/flavor to me.
I would support this business again since the food is great and the employees/owners were very nice. Im happy to see love in the business!

Every time I dine at an omakase restaurant, I think of Wags (of Billions). But this one is name only, with a full menu to order from.

The sounds of wok is constant: probably a lot of take outs (?) The lady hostess speaks Cantonese and our serve speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin, and his English is better than my Chinglish.
On 避风塘调味 typhoon shelter seasoning, that usually has fried onion, garlic and hot pepper, is originated from Hong Kong. Typhoon frequents HK, as often as hurricane does Florida. Many shelters around HK provide safety to boats during the disasters. As time goes by, these shelters became the boat people’s communities, where they live, work, and also cook on their boat for people who bring their own seafood (purchased elsewhere nearby). One shelter I used to go was Quarry Bay (鲗鱼涌). The boat owner/cook would ask how would you like your seafood be cooked. I asked for this and steam 清蒸 equally. It’s a little baffling to me that HK even invented typhoon shelter seasoning (good with beers …), given the fact that they love to eat live seafoods, which do not need heavy seasoning. Do enlighten me, TIA. (A little too much blah blah – more of a note to myself.)

Found this hidden gem on the way to a friend’s place! We ordered a Mexican roll, General Tso chicken, and the Korean bulgogi beef. All of the dishes were delicious and I was absolutely blown away with how the bulgogi came SIZZLING to our table! Our server was fast and brought us everything we wanted in a timely manner. If you’re looking for some yummy Asian cuisine and you’re in the area, this is the place to go!

I ordered the godfather roll and it was the best sushi roll I’ve had in while although it wasn’t spicy like I thought it might be. Nice little place. Clean bathroom, good selection of food and drinks. I got a peach iced tea which was nice. They had a lot if iced tea flavors.
