Karyna was a fantastic server and had such a great understanding of the menu. Explained it well and kept us very upbeat. The food was outstanding! Great flavors and explanations for all courses. We ordered the OMA Deluxe and it was super filling. Atmosphere was nice and chill, no loud music which is always my favorite! 10/10.

I ordered Omaki Sushi through Uber Eats in Aventura and had a great experience. The delivery was handled well and everything arrived neatly packaged.
The presentation was beautiful, which always matters, especially with sushi delivery. The food tasted fresh and flavorful and held up very well for delivery. The unagi eel was especially good, and the seaweed salad was also really enjoyable.
The order came with a generous amount of sauces, as well as plenty of ginger and wasabi, which I appreciated.
Overall, it was definitely a good meal and I would recommend ordering from them. I can only imagine that dining in at the restaurant would be even more amazing.

David was excellent! From the beginning made sure we felt comfortable with the menu and hav us options. He was kind and attentive. Recommended the matcha iced tea for my mom and guided me through the sake options.
Checked in on us throughout the meal without being overbearing.
The food was fantastic. Fresh, delicious. Every server was on point – we were able to have a pleasant conversation without interruption while still being served at a good pace.
The music and space was wonderful. Overall, OMAKAI Aventura is a place I will come back to. Had only ordered take out from them but the space is definitely worth the visit and makes a huge difference in the experience.

I love Omakai, everything is always delicious and we have a wonderful time. Today we went and the host received us with such an attitude that surprised me so much coming from Omakai’s hospitality, she seemed so rude and not helpful at all with our concern about an issue with our reservation, I asked kindly if she had any availability and answered with so much fatigue. Im very disappointed on the situation and the service provided.

Nico Saavedra (one of the owners) and Jillian Rojas (operations manager) contacted me after this experience, they have been amazing, I explained the situation and they took it really well. They both have been really helpful and understanding, my objective was never to cause any disturbances, it was just a shocker service coming from Omakai. Best sushi in town.

I am writing this review after three visits.
At my initial impression of the place, I have to admit I was reluctant to come back. My husband and I attempted to call ahead to reschedule our reservation, as we would be over 10 minutes late. They didn’t pick up over several of our attempts. We showed up as soon as we were able, and were made to wait over 20 minutes for our table, after which we just left (ergo the missing star for service).
The second visit was splendid – every bite exceeded my expectations. I found the flavors nostalgic, from the pairing of shiso and plum to their use of yuzu koshō with hotate.
Tonight’s visit was also lovely. I had the same omakai deluxe course and enjoyed every bit of it. Both times, I found myself asking my husband for help finishing several bites – my choice of course. He especially loved his order of ginger and green onion with shima aji, which he asked for two more of for seconds and to have me try as well (it was delicious). Their seasonal sake tasting menu was an interesting selection.
We believe we will be coming back regularly. ✨よろしくお願い致します

Came for happy hour with my almost 2 year old. We sat outside. We were lucky enough to have Karyna as our server and she was wonderful. The food was fantastic but her service was over the top! Friendly, warm and the cherry on top was knowing the Elmo song for my son. Ha ha. Love

Gisela was amazing! So sweet, kind and helpful. She made the experience so eloquent. The happy hour is worth every penny. You can even come here if you are vegan! Would recommend as someone who is not the biggest sushi fan. My boyfriend loves sushi and he was in heaven! Will be coming back.

This Japanese restaurant in Aventura is a hidden gem. I highly recommend trying their cuisine. The fish and seafood are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and a minimalist interior. They also have a great selection of sake, beer, and wines. There’s even a nice outdoor sitting area if you prefer to dine outdoors.

For a starter omakese experience and quality of fish this was amazing. For $50 we got so much food! Our server Rosie was also such a sweetie and offered such a good experience with complimentary sake. I will be back!
