Absolutely amazing dining experience from start to finish! Highly recommend! Our family of 4 stopped in for dinner this week on a whim after a day at the zoo and we could not have left more pleased…or full.

Absolutely fantastic. Service was articulate and used visual aids when showcasing different cuts of meats which was new to us. Food was outstanding as was the ambience – we were outside. Best steak you can get

I have been to all the prime steakhouses in Omaha, of them I enjoyed Omaha Prime the most. The environment of the restaurant was fantastic (request a seat in the passageway) the server was a little nervous but very pleasant and helpful. The prices were on par or better than all others for what was being offered for both food and drink. And they even have house made desserts. I had the prime dry aged ribeye and of the ones I’ve had it was my favorite. If you like a classic steakhouse with knockout quality in Omaha come here.

We had a reservation here with high expectations, as we have dined here in the past. Unfortunately, for the price of your meal and drinks – they make no effort in having a comfortable atmosphere for the amount of guests that they had last night. I would describe our experience as warm (no AC in the dining room), slow, and uneventful. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, an hour for bread, and nearly two hours for our food (which came out at inconsistent times and prepared incorrectly). It was obvious that our satisfaction did not fall into the hands of our server, but the people cooking our food. We made sure that our server knew that it was not her fault, they work very hard there! However, in comparison to our last experience at this restaurant, I can say we will not be returning in the future.

Definitely a disappointment. Wanted a great steak in Omaha and I got a barely 1/4 inch thick well done ribeye that I had to send back. I never send food back but for $84 I was not paying for that. Service was great, otherwise avoid this place. Overly dressed salad, subpar steak and steamed Brussels with no flavor at all. NOT worth it.

Another victim of COVID? Omaha Prime (OP) certainly has gone downhill. Tablecloth had breadcrumbs on it, apparently not changed after previous diners. Filet was tender but dry, not worth $50. No bartender on staff (not just this night), waiter had to make drinks (never a good thing!). Old Fashioned was bland, for $13.50 I expect a “craft cocktail”, not bourbon with an orange slice & red maraschino cherry! Waiter was not particularly attentive, even with very light crowd. All-in-all, definitely not worth the $190 tab (before tip). Read another review that OP is under new ownership. Assuming that is true, I wonder if issues (reduced staff, mediocre cocktails, suboptimal steak) are lingering aftermath of COVID workforce, or actually in-over-their-heads neophyte owners’ cost-cutting attempts. Either way, owners better figure it out, or OP will be out of business in a couple of years, tops. Recommend Sullivan’s or 801 Chophouse if you’re planning a $200 dinner out for two in Old Market, or Mahogany in greater Omaha.
