wow, the dosas are huge. my favorite was the bhatura and the indo-chinese noodles were very good (both a little spicy though). service was quick but there are a lot of options and not many photos or descriptions, so may be hard to understand as a “first-timer.” lots of flavor in everything though.

Been visiting for many years now, the quality is consistent and food is delicious .

Indo-chinese and dosas are a must try! Curries are authentic and yummy. Indulgent food…truly a vegetarian’s delight .

Best part for those with spice level requirements – they get it RIGHT! Don’t forget to mention the spice level (mild, medium, hot) while ordering.

I’ve visited Om Indian Bistro a couple of times now and have explored a good portion of their menu. This is a fantastic spot for groups because the selection is so wide—there’s truly something for everyone.
Food Highlights:
Must-Try: I highly recommend the Veg Manchurian and the Pav Bhaji; both were flavorful and well-prepared.
Pro-Tip: If you’re a fan of variety, check out their Dosa combos, which allow you to choose three different types of Dosas from the menu.

Note on Chole Bhatura: This dish was a bit more oily and spicy than we prefer, so keep that in mind if you have a lower spice tolerance.

Service & Logistics: The staff is great and the service is consistently fast. Parking is also a breeze as they have an ample lot. Overall, it’s a solid 4-star experience and a go-to for variety in Phoenix!

Deepa and her team at Om Indian Bistro were an absolute pleasure to work with. They catered both my Sangeet and Haldi events, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Deepa, in particular, was such a joy—warm, responsive, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. She provided an excellent tasting selection and worked closely with us to make thoughtful adjustments to our menu.

Her flexibility with food options and accommodations made planning stress-free, and the entire staff was professional, efficient, and well-trained. Their familiarity with setup and teardown at large venues was a huge plus. It’s no surprise that Om is one of the few approved Indian catering vendors for major hotels—the quality, organization, and service truly stand out.

I would highly recommend Om Catering for any Indian function or wedding event. Deepa will take care of you every step of the way and ensure your guests are well fed and happy.

I have mixed feelings about my recent visit. On one hand, the food is genuinely exceptional and some of the good Indian cuisine I’ve had recently. On the other, the service—specifically regarding the closing procedures—left a very bitter taste in my mouth.

The Food: If you are visiting for the flavors, I highly recommend the Dahi Puri and the Afghani Paneer Bhurji. Both were standout dishes. The Garlic Naan is excellent, and if you enjoy a spicy kick, the Bullet Naan is a must-try. Their South Indian selection is also impressive; the Mysore Masala Dosa was perfectly prepared.

The Service & Atmosphere: Unfortunately, the hospitality did not match the quality of the kitchen. Indian culture is rooted in the philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (The Guest is God), but that sentiment was entirely missing from the front desk. A welcoming smile goes a long way, yet the reception felt cold and indifferent.

The most disrespectful part of the evening occurred toward the end. While the restaurant officially closes at 9:30 PM, the staff began turning off the dining room lights at 9:20 PM while we were still actively eating. Being told the restaurant is “closed” before the advertised time and being forced to finish a meal in the dark is incredibly unprofessional. It felt like an aggressive push to get us out the door so the staff could leave early.

Verdict: The chefs are doing a brilliant job, but the management needs to address the staff’s attitude.

We ordered three items: sugarcane juice, bhatura chole, and the Delhi chaat. Unfortunately, aside from the sugarcane juice, the rest of the experience was disappointing.

The bhatura chole was priced at $14.99, but we were served only one bhatura. It lacked any filling and was dripping with oil—clearly not drained properly. There were no pickles, sides, or even napkins provided. It seems like the expectation is that customers help themselves, but this wasn’t communicated.

As for the Delhi chaat, we had asked for papdi chaat specifically, but what we received was a random mix of snacks that didn’t resemble traditional chaat at all.

Overall, not happy with the choices we made—but at least we left a little wiser

The tikka masala was too good, especially since they perfectly accommodated our request for extra spicy. Amit and Das were incredibly kind, attentive, and made the experience even better! Will definitely return back when we are in the area again.

So good! The paneer manchurian could use more sauce but excellent flavor! Samosas were a tad too spicy but very tasty! Naan was amazing!

Best food…those rare finds where quality and consistency go hand in hand — no matter how many times we’ve visited, the experience has always been top-notch.

Even though it’s quite a drive for us, the trip is always worth it. The food never disappoints — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. In fact, it’s become a tradition: we dine in, enjoy every bite, and then order more to-go for friends and family. That says everything about how much we trust and love this place.

The staff is courteous, the service is smooth, and the ambiance adds a relaxing touch to the whole experience. Om Bistro has earned a special spot in our list of go-to restaurants — highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great Indian food done right.
