visited Om Cooking on a quiet day and had a mixed experience. The service was excellent, our server was welcoming and incredibly attentive throughout the meal.
However, the food was a bit hit-or-miss:
Appetizers: We ordered the spicy chicken wings. The flavor and crunch were spot on, but we found a piece of plastic on top of the wings when they arrived. Additionally, one of the wings was still cold in the center.
Mains: The Pad Thai was just okay (I’ve had better elsewhere), but the Crispy Chicken was a highlight and very tasty.
I love the service here, but I hope the kitchen can tighten up the food prep and quality control!

Amazing experience! Authentic Thai food flavor! Quick service, our fav was the tom yum and pad thai!

The service was excellent. Lady was very nice. The food was not that great. Way too salty as if to hide no flavor to the dishes. Have had better tasting Thai food. Pleasant surprise sweet roll at the end. So nice. Thank you.

Really surprised to find good Thai food and reasonable prices. A rather low key place. Not much noise. I thought very reasonable prices. Nice neighborhood. They let us sit and talk for over an hour when we had finished. Would absolutely go again and try other options. Server didn’t ask me for a heat level and mine was very mild. Could make a meal out of the fresh rolls.

Ordered pork fried rice. No egg was in it. Frozen peas and carrots were used. And Frozen green Beans. Pretty sure I won’t be going back. $16.50.

This restaurant serves “traditional” Thai staples, spiced correctly! If you ask for the 3-☆ max, make sure you say thai chiles please. Just excellent. We’ve had service issues before, but the food execution has always been solid.

We finally had a meal here last night. We’ve struggled to find a Thai restaurant in town that we both like and want to return to. Husband ordered chicken Pad Thai and I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). We shared a pot of jasmine tea. DELICIOUS food, and GREAT service. We’ll definitely be back!

Our experience was incredible! I loved seeing the new decor, even though I was sad to see the Lion my sister painted gone Crab rangoons were delightfully crunchy and the soups really hit the spot. If you love spicy food you have to ask for level 3. Price of food was great, only complaint was a slightly high priced bottle of plum wine

This was our first visit to this restaurant. It is a small dining area with a cozy atmosphere.
We had an appetizer of vegetable fried egg rolls, then entrees of Pad Woon Sen and Yellow Curry. Both were excellent. We like spicy food so got medium spice which was just right.
Though we were pretty full, we decided to try the Mango Sticky Rice. It was AMAZING! It wasn’t super sweet, but the mix of flavors (rice, coconut milk, mango, & sesame) and the freshness of the mango made it a treat for our tastebuds.
We spoke with the owner who explained the process of making the Sticky Rice in traditional bamboo steamers, and using only fresh mango of a variety that is only available here at certain times of year. If it’s in season, I definitely recommend it.
Overall, we had more than just a meal, we had a cultural experience in our hometown.
It’s authentic and delicious…stop by and give Om Cooking a try. I think you’ll love it.
