The one thing that stands out about this restaurant, is it’s interior of being such an older and historic looking place. I can’t honestly say that the food is excellent, but it’s very good. The reason that I say that it’s only very good, is because we’ve been several times and sometimes the food is better than other times. The portions are usually very healthy in size, and the staff is very friendly. Yes, the interior does look like an old western Saloon, but there is no alcohol served, just a good clean family restaurant.

The medium well filet mignon steak came out as the quality of a sirloin. Way over cooked, burnt on the outside and very very dry. Nicki the manager on duty came out and gave us major attitude and dirty looks over a steak. Her behavior was shocking. It was diner time and there were 3 tables in here. The last several times we have been here it has taken 30 to 45 minutes to get our food even when we were the only ones in here. There is a reason there are so few customers here at dinner time. The owner should be embarrassed to have a manager who treats their customers like that. We were not trying to get the food free just wanted what we ordered.

Good food and pleasant service. Be aware they allow smoking and while they offer a no smoking section, it’s an old small building, so you can’t completely escape the smoke. Personally I love the pork chops and suggest trying them. BTW, they are closed Monday’s. Therese they’re open 11-8

had a great meal with friends Lots of food that will easily fill you up. Price point is good and they dont fail to deliver. My favorite part was the blackberry cobbler, reminded me of grandmas. Will be back soon!

This place needs to shut down. It is nasty, the people are nasty. The little buffet is like dumpster diving.. The owner is apparently the cook, he needs to hire one that can cook. The lady that checked us out was rude. Oh apparently there is a 3% charge on debit transactions which is not mentioned until you pay. They took over 30 min to get my gfs food and she wanted to cancel because it was taking too long and they made her take it and buy it. don’t come here, it’s like the 1980s in a dumpster!

The best part of the whole meal was the waitress. I ordered the “hand breaded” chicken tenders and have honestly had better at some gas stations. My husband had country fried steaks with gravy. The gravy was out of a can and like my chicken it was frozen out of a bag. Nothing homemade about the whole meal. Honestly disgusting.

We live in Farmington and drove the 15 miles to try this place out.
I want to start my review on a positive note. The steak itself was cooked perfect. I asked for medium and that’s exactly what I got, flavor of the meat was excellent…however that’s about the only positive note…
First, the prices for this place are WAY over the top for what you get, IMO. For 5 people (2 adults and three kids) our bill was $77!
Second, my wife and oldest daughter ordered the shrimp basket, what they got was exactly what you would get at Captain D’s for $7, except theirs was $12. The salad bar isnt included for any meal even though for what you pay it should be.
My son ordered a hamburger, the patty looked premade and pre frozen, which isnt an issue, it tasted fine but he did order dessert…for $2… they brought out a pre-packaged 1/4 cup of ice cream, the kind with the lids, like served at school.
I ordered the 8oz steak. Like I said. The steak was cooked perfect, however it had no seasoning at all which simple salt and pepper would have been fine and probably made the steak perfect.
The soups on the bar tasted like they came from a can. The chicken gumbo tasted and looked just like Campbell’s. Which isnt bad but for what you are paying, you should get better.
Our waitress didnt check on us after bringing our food, didnt take notice of several drinks at the table that were empty and we had to stop and ask for them to be refilled.
Overall, way too overpriced for what you get. I’m not a Coltons fan but save you money and go there. Heck you can order the largest steak and get dessert and come out cheaper than this place. We will not be going back…
However if you are parked there and about to go in, save your money and eat at the chinese place, it’s better.

My husband’s steak was over cooked my steak was so under cooked it had blood running out of it and I couldn’t eat it. They were both very over seasoned. Floor were very dirty and out table was as well and most of the tableswere covered with dishes from people that was there before us. The only time the waitress came to our table was when she brought out food then brought us the bill. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant while we were there so it wasn’t because she was busy
