WE ATE HERE a year ago or two and it was a good place with great food. It must have changed owners since then.
The atmosphere was awful. The owner talking down to the staff in front of the entire room full of people. He was a mean man and boss. The food was AWFUL. The green beans too salty the potatoes and gravy had a bacon grease type flavor , it wasnt edible to me. I ate the corn and it was as good as canned corn can be. The meat selection was chicken, pulled pork and fried fish. My husband liked the fish. My daughter and I never ate any of it, the chicken and pulled pork was dried out . This was at 4 p.m. I made a nice salad then but are 2 bites, either it wasnt ranch dressing or it had gone bad. My daughter couldn’t tear her roll apart and said the Mac and cheese was thick and dried up.
We paid our bill in cash as the owner stood just outside of the cash register scowling at everyone with his glare.
We will NEVER eat there again.

The fish on the buffet was pretty good and the mashed potatoes were good with gravy. Shrimp was extremely over cooked disappointed in the sea food on the buffet, just disappointed in the buffet all together.. next time we will definitely order off the menu in hips of better food . One thing that was embarrassing for us was to be witnesses to the OWNER talking down to one of the waitresses right in front of our table , as if he was doing a much better job.. he was very high strung and his vibe was not at all good. He is not making it easy for anyone to enjoy a meal having to hear him talk down to his employees while customers are trying to find something good to eat .. I was very disappointed in how he acted

Our server was a doll, but the buffet food was very bland or none edible, to be completely honest. Neither of my kids would eat and my husband and I could barely stomach eating just about a quarter (IF that) of our full plates. Definitely not worth the $40.63 we spent.

Was not bad and for the price of $13.65 the food was almost unbeatable if you are in the mood for southern buffet foods. Coming a bit later in the day, the salad bar was a little low on the much used toppings but had a good overall selection. Part of me wishes I had a heads up that the peperoncini peppers offered were pickled a little too sweetly before I bit into them. The Salisbury Steak was everything Salisbury steak should be and even though I’ve sworn off shrimp, I had to try the Coconut Shrimp and it was pretty good. Beef tips were almost worth the trip alone. Cleanliness however, you could clearly tell it had been a long day. Even where the waitress had me seated there was a few miscellaneous papers and tots laying around. Plus the bathrooms were a little distraught.

My steak was cooked perfect, the salad bar included everything you could normally want, plus a few extra items such as real jalapeno bacon bits and pepperoni slices. If you leave here still feeling hungry, you must have a medical problem with your intestines.
This place is definitely a diamond in the rough and you should make every attempt to get here if you’re in the area.

Service was fine and staff was friendly. But meat is overcooked. Sides are mushy. Desserts are dry. Cornbread was flavorless.
