I stopped in this restaurant to get lunch. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and sat at a booth. I was served by Yang. I ordered:

Sake
Spicy Cumin Chicken Wings
Beef Noodle Soup
Grand Marnier Jumbo Shrimp
Hunan Chicken with Brown Rice

I enjoyed the food and my favorite was definitely the beef noodle soup. All in all a really good experience!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
My daughter and I ordered a delivery from Ollie’s Sichuan which cost over $50.
We ordered starters, and 2 mains, one of which comes with white rice, which we selected. Was given timeframe, but had to wait almost an hour extra hour on top of our delivery time. My daughter was so hungry and because we paid for it already, we couldn’t cancel our order. When the food came it was cold and the white rice was missing from the meal. Upon calling Ollie’s to ask for the rice to be delivered, I was put on hold many times without any notification and was then told that they will not deliver the rice to us because they don’t deliver at this address. This was a poor excuse not to bother, as they already delivered the food to us! They offered a credit rice, despite my efforts to inform them that I don’t live here. I informed them that we already paid for the meal which includes the rice, and she told me that I haven’t paid for it because it comes with the meal. A sad attempt to gaslight. At this point, you could clearly see the dishonesty and lack of customer service to rectify their mistake was never going to happen. So I left it; unsatified and my daughter hungry. Lastly, the food lacked salt and the soup depth of flavour, but the spring rolls and sweet and sour sauce were lovely. We received no acknowledgement of their mistake and no apology.

I have both dined in and gotten food to go from Ollie’s. Everything is always hot, fresh, flavorful and delicious. Their staff are nice and everything is always very quick. Prices are very reasonable, especially for their lunch special. I tried the double cooked bacon and their mapo tofu- both absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Ollie’s. I ordered sichuan dishes and not “American Chinese dishes” so I can’t comment on those.

Typical chinese take-out. We expected more given how the place looks and how big it is. It was ok for takeout but nothing more. Very oily food and very spicy so keep that in mind. Got a little sick after eating as well… all very much in line with Chinese takeout in NYC

We ordered Fried Rice and Chow Mein and it came decently packed and with good quantities so that’s what the stars are for. Taste was ok, nothing memorable

I had roast pork chow fun, wonton soup and steamed pork bun. Their food is always fresh. The soup and bun were very good but the chow fun was excellent. I highly recommend Ollies.

Came here prior to a show across the street. Seated quickly, service was super quick, the food was delicious! The best chicken and broccoli I’ve ever had, spare ribs were great. Fried rice was good, soup dumplings were not my favorite but they seemed homemade for sure and required 15 minutes to cook! My only down fall was how horrendous the bathrooms were. Clean bathrooms are important and they were really unkempt and not clean at all.

It was pretty good. This was the second year my organization went there for our Christmas brunch. Ollie’s used to be a staple of mine, when I lived on the Upper West Side, so I know their food. They’re good.
Christmas, of course was packed so service was fine, if not spotty. Our server was fine. I/we thought she probably had too many tables to work. Plus, she may not have wanted to be there, but the food was fine. We were at a big table of 12 or 13, so there’s that, too. I’m guessing the kitchen was overworked (busy) too, because everything came out in a timely fashion except one person’s shrimp dish with a side of asparagus. Go figure. She was happy upon receipt and eating it, though. It’s just the person next to her waited for her to receive her food. The two dishes that take the least amount of time to cook came out 15 minutes after everyone else was served. No explanation just yes, yes, it’s coming.

I ordered Uber Eats from this place on the day I was feeling under the weather, and the portions were incredibly generous. The chicken noodle soup was lightly flavored and provided the nourishment I needed to combat my cold. The dry pot, priced at $30, was an excellent deal, offering a variety of ingredients and lasting for several meals. While it was authentic, it was a bit too spicy.

the chicken and broccoli was extremely disappointing. It honestly tasted like someone simply chopped up plain chicken, tossed it into a pot, poured in a packet of soy sauce, and added a large amount of broccoli with no additional seasoning, garlic, ginger, or depth of flavor. There was no balance, no richness, no aroma — just flat, one-dimensional soy sauce and steamed vegetables. It lacked the savory, well-seasoned taste you expect from this dish. It’s something I genuinely could have made at home in under 20 minutes and saved myself $40.

At first I was impressed by the food. However, I just opened my leftovers from 3 hours ago and there is a roach at the bottom of the rice. I almost threw up the food in my mouth. A baby roach meaning there is an infestation at this establishment. Will be seeking a refund this is grossing me out.
