Im so sad writing this review! Ive loved ollie and hobbes for the last couple years you guys have my all time fav meal but keep changing the menu photo 1. Is the Tuscan Chicken when it was over risotto. That was the best prep of it for sure. Photo 2. Is the change that occured to have the Tuscan Chicken over gnocci. Definitely still good but changed it to a much heavier meal, all dressings still the same though so it still tasted delish. Now Photo 3. The most recent menu change, which also included removing sav blanc from the menu :(, changed the entire recipe of the dish and now the tuscan chicken though still having the lemon poppy seed drizzle, is mixed into a tomato based dressing. Totally changed and ruined the dish…Please change the menu back i love ollie and hobbes so much but that dish is the only reason my entire friend group goes

We had a work get together for dinner here. They took our reservation for 12 and seated us in a lovely private room with lots of windows and a nice large table. The staff were amazing and attentive, especially for a large group. We had cocktails that were stellar . The bartender was skilled in his drink preparations ! All of our dish selections were served hot and fresh, and the portions were ample for the price. There is plenty of free parking and the establishment was clean. They were prepared for us and seated us right away. Even the manager checked in on us and took pics of our group. Epic service !

I see all of the other reviews mentioning they should’ve known better when the restaurant is dead on saturday and sunday nights… I guess I should’ve known better.
Service was slow considering we were one of 5 tables in the entire restaurant. My boyfriend’s mom and I both got burgers and asked for them to be cooked medium well. I didn’t know medium well meant raw. I was appalled when I took my first bite of my burger and saw that it was completely raw on the inside. As soon as I cut my burger in half it literally turned to mush. Was offered a new burger but unfortunately we both lost our appetite.
The place itself is gorgeous and the food has potential to be good but for our first time coming here, what a disappointment.
Hopefully this place can turn itself around and hire passionate staff who care for their customers, cook their food correctly, and allow for an enjoyable experience

The wait staff is horribly slow, 10 minutes from when we were seated till a waiter showed up to greet us and get a drink order. they were too busy talking in the back. sat night 6pm and only at maybe 25% capacity so it was not busy, they had enough staff. The staff just doesn’t care. I had to go to the bar repeatedly to get my coke refilled. The empty tables near us went unbussed for an hour. The waitstaff have no personality, no energy. it’s depressing to go here. The foods fine, nothing memorable. it’s just a waste of time. Management need to fire the waitstaff and start over.

Terrible food and terrible service. Wondered why this place was empty on a Friday night. Waiter rung in one of our drinks and one of our meals incorrectly. Didn’t apologize at all for the mistake and never looked up from his toast ordering device. There were many times we asked the waiter for something and he ignored us and walked away and came back 15 mins later (he only had two tables during the two hours we were there.)
The only food that was decent were the truffle fries. I got the Tuscan chicken gnocchi and it was awful. The chicken was deep fried when the menu said “crispy chicken.” I have never seen a chicken gnocchi like the one they present here. Tasted like it was cooked in sink water and I sent it back. Ended up just eating truffle fries because our table of 6 said all of their meals weren’t good as well (we all got something different). The French dip was made with ground beef, not shredded beef like the menu description said. Burgers were overcooked.
I overheard the table next to us asking to speak to a manager, as they had our same waiter. The bartender came over and tried to address the table and the table complained that their food was terrible and his drink was not the correct one that he ordered. The bartender argued with him and said, “The only difference between those two drinks is one ingredient.” That is the difference!!!
We have been to other locations and cannot believe this one is so awful! Don’t give this location your business!

Tried to have dinner. We waited 7 minutes at the front counter waiting to be seated, as the instructions noted. Not one person acknowledged us. There was a gentleman at the bar with no menu, water, or drink. Another table of 8 that had menus and no sign of service. Another woman with a menu, no water or drink…looking frustrated. Beyond disappointed. #SundayDinnerFail.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We were sitting for 40 minutes before we even got water. One waiter forgot our drink order so another had to take it again. We had to go inside and ask 4 different times for water and silverware. When the food finally did come, much of it was nearly inedible. The sirloin steak was paper thin and extremely hard and chewy. I cannot stress enough how strange the experience was and how bad the food was.

I recently visited Ollie and Hobbes and unfortunately had a disappointing experience overall.
From the start, the service was extremely slow. It was clear the restaurant was short staffed, as there were long waits to be greeted, to place our order, and to receive our food. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and there was little follow-up once we were seated.
When our meals finally arrived, the food was cold, which was especially frustrating after such a long wait. It really took away from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
The one bright spot of the visit was the drinks — they were well-made and tasted great. Unfortunately, good drinks alone weren’t enough to make up for the slow service and cold food.

Food was pretty tasty. We were there for cocktail hour before a company work party and while I enjoyed my time there, the appetizer list is quite small (and so are the wings). The meatballs have an odd soft/bouncy texture but good flavor. Overall quite tasty, will go back to try their full menu!

Quite literally the worst restaurant food I have ever had. The buisness and cooks should really feel shame for what they are serving to customers, especially at over 70$ for two adults and two small children.
