Lately I’ve been craving Papusas, there is nothing better than a fluffy papusa with crispy edges. I enjoyed the papusas here, except I think they are a little too salty for my taste, maybe it’s the salt of the cheese they use not sure, otherwise they are delicious. I ordered two cheese and two mixed. Not a ton of meat in the mixed. Very light stuffing. The sauce they give you is not that spicy at all.

I been living in the tenderloin for almost a year and it was my first trying the pupusas here. I got 2 cheese, 2 revueltas and cheese with beans.they were so good! Beware the salsa is super spicy in a good way

I ordered pupusas revueltas. The pupusas, salsa and curtido were delicious. Horchata too, they make it as traditional Salvadoran horchata without milk or Rice.

I love it! Super Burritos are huge and ingredients great as well. California has a smaller size but still decent. My favorite is Chile Verde Carnitas Super burrito so far. I have been there a numerous times and every time my food was delicious. I appreciate people who work there and they approach to serve great food. This place is tiny but medieval busy so you know they are popular. Since there is not many true places which serves decent burritos, this place is definitely deserve to be on your list for a future visit.

Great food at a fair price. I heartily recommend the tamarindo – it was strong and rich, and a great compliment to my meal.

Olivio’s is an underrated hidden gem in SF.

This is an authentic Salvadoran/Mexican spot tasty, affordable food and some beverages. It’s bare bones & and in the Tendernob area of the SF, which is a sketchy area but has some of the best food in the city. It seems most people order takeover or delivery. It doesn’t appear they offer dine-in options anymore as there’s always a sign outside saying “para llevar” aka to-go, but I’ll double check on this for accuracy .

I’m a fan of their bean & rice pupusas and complementary fermented cabbage salad called curtido. They have also yummy fried plantains. I also recommend their Salvadoran style Horchata. I look forward to try to their beef soup next time.

Their owner seems pleasant, humble, hard working and appreciative of business. If you don’t want to venture in the Tenderloin area, don’t let that stop you from trying Olivio’s, they are available for delivery on DoorDash! Highly recommended.

Excellent food and very friendly service. The pollo asado super burrito was the best burrito I’ve had in the neighborhood for sure. Great salsas too. Burrito came out to $13.80. Will come back for the pupusas.

Edit: came back for pupusas and breakfast burrito. Both really excellent. 10/10 green salsa

Better than any other taqueria in the immediate neighborhood! Not just hot for the sake of hot; even the plain beans and rice burrito had *flavor* before adding salsa! The salsa is great too! Genial staff, fast service, reasonable prices, quality food! After being disappointed by the others, this is my new go-to for Mexican cuisine in the TL!

I eat here more than any other Mexican food place in the City. Have yet to meet something on the menu I haven’t enjoyed. Truly outstanding food. And I am picky about Mexican food. Hole-in-the-wall, homestyle, like I grew up with. None of the commercial, hot tray, cafeteria style Mexican food you get in the Mission.
