Mt. Juliet residents who have found their new date night destination. The food was just excellent! We shared the charcuterie board, the ribs, the meatloaf burger, and baked oysters (we ordered a second plate of these!). Everything was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the small, but curated atmosphere, as well as the drinks (Purple People Eater was a hit). 10/10 will come again. And soon!

Went here on a date night. Excellent and quick service. The oysters were incredible. The ribs are a must try! Drinks were great.
Excellent atmosphere and perfect for a date night in Lebanon. In middle Tennessee for that matter.
We will be back!

Unfortunately, this place missed the mark. Food was sub-par, and cocktails just weren’t good. I ordered a French 75, which is a pretty simple cocktail but ended up basically getting an overpriced glass of lemon juice. After realizing cocktails aren’t really their thing, I ordered a glass of chardonnay, and that was really good. Very tight space, and they closed at 9 pm on a Saturday. There are a lot of missed opportunities here, in my opinion. It’s almost impossible to find any info about the menu or drink options on social media or Google.

Last night was our first visit to Olivia’s Cocktail and Oyster Bar, and choosing Valentine’s Day turned out to be a mistake. The entire experience left us disappointed, frustrated, and honestly confused at how unprepared they were for a night they absolutely should have anticipated.
We waited at the door for about five minutes before anyone came over to seat us. Once we were finally seated for our 7 pm reservation, we sat another 10–15 minutes before our server appeared with water. That’s when we learned—because she mentioned it repeatedly—that she wasn’t even an employee of the restaurant. She works at a nearby bakery and was just “helping out” for the evening, which became painfully obvious as the night went on.
We ordered the Meat & Cheese tray, only to be told it wasn’t available. Since she wasn’t actually a staff member, she couldn’t offer any alternatives or recommendations, so we scrambled and ordered the mac and cheese instead. My boyfriend ordered oysters as well. Meanwhile, a couple who didn’t even have a reservation was seated after us, got their drinks, received their food, paid, and left—all before our mac and cheese ever made it to the table. The kitchen was “backed up,” so everything took a while. The mac and cheese arrived first and was fine. The oysters came out much later, delivered by a different server who simply dropped the tray and walked away. My boyfriend eats oysters everywhere we go, and part of the experience is being told what they are and where they’re sourced. None of that happened, which was incredibly disappointing.
When our server returned, we ordered Brussels sprouts and Shrimp & Grits. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, she came back to tell us she had forgotten to ring it in—but if we “still wanted it,” she could put it in now. We said yes, and eventually the food arrived. She apologized and comped a dessert, which we appreciated, but by then the night was already off the rails.
By the time the check arrived, it was 9 pm. We were more than ready to leave. We put our card on the clipboard and waited another 10–15 minutes for her to return—even though the restaurant was no longer busy. We finally spotted her in the corner texting on her phone, so we walked our payment over to her just to get out of there.
We’ve heard great things about Olivia’s, but this first impression left a very poor taste in our mouths. For such an expensive meal, the service and overall experience were nowhere near acceptable.

For as new as this place is, it was incredibly disappointing that their food options were so limited–more than the menu itself because they were out of 6 different plates that night. The dishes we did try were average. The beef tartare was too spicy, which typically I like, but it took away from the dish itself. Wine listings are sub par and overly priced. Bartender did not seem to know much about their out drink list though for as ‘high value’ as the place gives off, I’d expect you to know your stuff without having to look at the menu or bottle. Ambiance was nice though And service was good enough. I think they could tell we were unimpressed so they passed me and my date on to different servers

Great atmosphere, drinks, and oysters! Would definitely recommend! The drinks we had were the Purple People Eater and the CW. Both were fantastic!

I almost don’t want to write this review because I don’t want others to discover this GEM in Lebanon! But whatever, they deserve it! This is a place you would expect to find in Nashville- beautiful atmosphere, attentive service and absolutely beyond delicious food, wine and cocktails. I am so so glad we have this place in our little town and we will definitely be back again!

We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner last night at Olivia! My hubs and I had a great old friend in town, and the three of us have had some incredible meals over the years, all over the country and world. Not that we’re necessarily super picky, but we know good food. Olivia is such a special gem that this area SO needed. Will you pretty please open something great in Mt. Juliet too??- we so need something of this quality, service, and atmosphere! Also, as a member of the class of ’96, your playlist was amazing and could have been made from my own mix tape, ha ha. Thank you for that unexpected but perfect touch. I can’t wait to bring my Allyn Aesthetics team in for our next company night out!
