Always Mediterranean
While driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, we were looking for a place to stop and eat, and coming across Always Mediterranean genuinely made us happy.
The food is very delicious, light, not greasy, and easy on the stomach.
The kitchen is well organized, the place is clean, and you can clearly tell that the lady who cooks the food does her job with real care.
It’s one of those rare places you randomly stop at on the road and say, “I’m really glad we did.”
I can confidently recommend it to everyone.

My first time going to OLIVES MEDITERRANEAN MARKET AND GRILL,
I ordered the Falafel Wrap and a side of Dolmas to go. Everything was delicious and perfect! If you’re interested in VEGAN options, this is a good place to pick up great Mediterranean Food and the portions are large, that’s GREAT! I’ll definitely be coming back to OLIVES MEDITERRANEAN MARKET AND GRILL, Thank You!

Nadia was the sweetest lady! We even exchanged phone numbers for cooking tips. I had the chicken shareware, which was served over fresh salad. Very healthy. Hubby had a veggie wrap and a falafel wrap. I loved tbe falafel wrap. They have a mini store with arabic items you can buy, and I was thrilled to find pickled turnips, and spices and more!

We stopped here on a road trip and were thrilled to have found it! The owner is the sweetest woman and it feels like you’re eating a good home cooked meal.
We both got the chicken kebab plate. The chicken was super tender, juicy, and seasoned well. The sauces were also delicious, especially the white garlic sauce- we might even come back just to buy a jar of it!

Not sure what happened today. Both chicken and rice were very bland. We left more than 50% of food on plate. We we’re charged $30 for a greek salad which they happily refunded, but also overcharged for other items in the order which failed to come out correctly. Our to-go order (which had been ordered prior to us tasting our food) had no pita or sauces despite requesting a second time. Overall quite disappointed with the lack of accuracy and quality today. I’m rating today’s experience 2 stars, but this place is usually 5/5 stars.

Probably one of the best gyro sandwich/wraps that I’ve ever eaten. Perfect sauce portions, and the meat was juicy and tender. I enjoyed watching as she shaved the lamb and beef right in front of me. Wonderful lady. Thank you for an excellent meal

If you would like authentic, homemade Mediterranean food, this is the deli for you! Our table enjoyed two plates of the kafta beef kebabs and two plates of the falafels. Each plate included turmeric rice, salad, hummus,pita and the entrée, There deli is surrounded by a market. The number of tables available to eat is small. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
