Always love coming to this place! It is truly a hidden gem. The quality and authenticity of the food is always top notch. Peyton, who’s been our server a few times is great and knowledgeable and very personable. This time we had the tomato soup, falafel, the gyro platter, lamb shank and baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious. If you’re in Arlington, or not, you must try this place out, you will not regret it. Best Mediterranean food we’ve had in Texas!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. The nostalgic instrumental music added charm without being too loud, the temperature was perfect, and the booth seating was both clean and comfortable. We got to choose between a sunny window booth or a shaded one a thoughtful touch. Our server was just a delight!
Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable and genuine.
The food was Outstanding!! Compliments to the chef, who is also the owner. You can taste the pride in every bite. My partner’s chicken and my lamb were perfectly cooked. It was tender, juicy, with the right amount of flavor. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the Tzatziki… wow. Creamy, flavorful, and made in-house, like all their sauces.
No complaints at all. We will absolutely be back, and I’ll be bringing friends. This is the kind of place you want to see thrive.

Perfect Private Party Venue – Amazing Food & Service!
We recently hosted our annual department holiday party at this fabulous adorable restaurant, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The owner was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to host a wonderful private event, which made the evening feel truly special.
The food was EXCELLENT—fresh, hot, and delicious. We had a wide variety of guests, and everyone was incredibly happy with the options, which included excellent meat and vegetarian dishes. The entire department had a fantastic time, thanks to the wonderful atmosphere and outstanding catering.

We did a carry out order. The order was submitted online. We picked up the food. Food was ready ontime. And everything item on our order was included. I’ve eaten here once before had a positive experience. A plus is being able to pick up your order via the take away/drive through window.
The cons: Although the food is good, it’s not amazing. Questionable freshness on the salad. The hummus is a bit lumpy, not smooth.
I had the trout and husband had the veal and beef gyro meals, with rice, salad. I order a side of hummus and two deserts. Baklava with ice cream and a single ice cream. Matt said the meat wasn’t blow your sock off.
$109 plus tax. Which is brutal. Am I missing something here? How did that get so expensive? Usually when my husband I get takeaway it’s maybe $50-75. Idk. Maybe we ordered too much but likely won’t be back until prices adjust since there so many other places where $109 would get us more food.
The price really set the tone for our expectation of this meal. And due to that fact, our expectations weren’t met.

First time visiting Olives and will definitely be returning soon! My husband and I are gluten free and dairy free and the owner was so helpful to accommodate and inform us of our many options. We had a large portion of the menu to choose from.
We started our meal with hummus and veggies, which was delicious. For the main course, we shared lamb chops and lamb loin—these were honestly the best I’ve ever had! We requested our lamb to be cooked medium, and it turned out perfectly. We also enjoyed Greek salad and saffron rice. The prices are very reasonable, and the lamb chops are significantly better than what I’ve tasted at restaurants that charge twice the price.
The restaurant itself is charming and quiet, with relaxing instrumental music playing in the background. The service is good, and the owner is very kind. I’m looking forward to returning soon!

My husband and I live in Arlington, but somehow never heard of Olives Mediterranean Grill! What a lapse! We went there on Valentine’s Day on the recommendation of a friend and we had such a wonderful time. We loved that we could bring our own bottle of wine while Olives supplied the glasses! We loved our food, which consisted of yummy Greek salads, a hummus platter for starters, my husband’s breadless gyro, and my (OMG!) pastitsio! It was all wonderful, very delicious, so well done! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive, the prices were reasonable…I can think of nothing bad to say! And I cannot wait to go back!

We have been going to Olives for many years and have never had a disappointing experience. The food is great, the people are very nice, and prices are reasonable. It is BYOB (they have wine glasses), which helps keep costs under control. One of the nicest things about Olives is the ability to hold a civilized conversation without having to yell over the other diners. A definite date-night spot. They have my very highest recommendation.
