Keep it simple. Established in 1964 this no frills, local diner has been serving the community by the Oliver family for four generations. Open for breakfast and lunch serving up breakfast sandwiches/specials and lunch fresh ground never frozen hand patty burgers/cheeseburgers, made from scratch BBQ, chili, sausage dogs, fried bologna, pork chop, fresh chicken breast, steak sandwiches and fries. Order counter, drink station and durable laminated contour booths bolted in the center. A simple cheeseburger combo comes with a thick, juicy burger with a few toppings but most extra fixin’s do come at a cost but still reasonable priced. “All the way” comes with chili, onions and mustard. A good serving of thicker fries and a drink round out the combo. The ladies behind the counter were personable and prompt with our order. Lunch was quickly filling up the tables as the locals and regulars knew where to find a good meal.

The menu includes barbecue, a homemade chili, fried bologna, and other sandwich options (including breakfast), but the burgers are the real showpiece. They’re only open for breakfast and lunch, but that’s OK because you won’t be hungry for the rest of the day.

Great place and historic since 1964. Food is great, I had a double hamburger, big patties,very filling. Very clean establishment, some of the friendliest folks. They also have a drive thru.

Their hamburgers and fries were terrific! They ground their own hamburger and make their own pimento cheese. Will return again to eat their breakfast!

Just a cup of coffee was too difficult. Coffee looked like brown water. Ask for half n half? Oh that’s too much! Offered me 2% that was at the bottom of the container from a rusted refrigerator. Established in 1964 and has failed to upgrade since. The waitress/cook had a” could care less “ attitude. Such a shame.

What happened to this place, it used to be so good! The burger tasted like one out the frozen section out the grocery store with zero seasoning, and the fries were so salty I could barely eat them. The fries were cooked perfectly to a med, but still too salty! Being born and raised here, Oliver’s used to be a once a month treat, but not anymore. Sorry to leave a negative review, I just don’t understand what happened to their food. And now it’s 9pm, and I’ve had stomach cramps off and on all day since eating at Oliver’s. Something was really off about that burger!

My wife and I were looking for a place to grab lunch and we passed Oliver’s . We both said at the same time let’s turn around and try that place .
We made a great decision as the food was delicious. They make their own barbecue and grind their own hamburger meat.
They serve mostly hamburgers and hot dogs but have other sandwiches as well .
This place stays busy as locals and men working in the area stop in for a delicious lunch ! Their fries are worth stopping in to check out !
