I really wanted to like this place, and would have had to of given it five stars but the food just didn’t justify it. The chicken was bone dry. While their sauce was excellent it does not make up for dried chicken no matter how much you dump on it. The simple dish of shrimp and grits was thoroughly over seasoned and again covered in their BBQ sauce which was clearly just overkill. I will say the entertainment was excellent the blues band was incredible and the staff friendly and a tentative.

Was An amazing experience! The staff was stressed because they were packed and kept apologizing but I didn’t think they needed to because everything was perfect! Food came out at a great speed, we got brisket nachos and those were awesome and we both ordered the 16 oz steak… WOW! so juicy and charred perfectly with the perfect amount of pink inside. The staff was friendly and seemed as if they really cared. Thank you for the experience!!

Fantastic! From the bartender, Johnny, to the Brisket Nachos we had as an appetizer and finally the NY Strip with loaded baked potato and fried zucchini (pictured) as well as the Baby Back Ribs. The sauces were tasty, steak was cooked perfectly and the portions were great! Restaurant was clean, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

I got fried shrimp an it was horrible. Very cold an nasty. The Mac an cheese was icy cold. Service sucked. I would NOT recommend this place. Grossly overpriced as well. My husband got steak it had to be returned because it wasn’t cooked correctly. The waitress was extremely rude an seemed annoyed because she had to take steak back. This place is unbelievable!!! It should close….My husband gets New York Strip Steaks because he doesn’t like the fat. This New York Strip was mostly fat. I would expect this on a rib eye but not a new York Strip. The waitress only came to our table to take order an I got her attention when steak needed to be returned. Steak was brought to table by a different person upon return. Waitress brought our ticket. So a total of 2 times she came to table. Pathetic.

While in town Oliver’s was our favorite restaurant and we tried several! From their AMAZING (best ever) French onion soup to their mashed potatoes black eyed peas and collard greens were all SO FLAVORFUL! I got the salmon dinner and it was delicious!!!! When I went back the second time for takeout a band was playing some (very good) AC/DC and people were singing in their seats, hands in the air and others dancing. Super fun spot with great food! Great friendly service!

Oliver’s place was amazing! We started off with the brisket nachos and they were delicious. The crispy chicken wings with buffalo sauce were some of the best wings i’ve ever had. The brisket was tender and flavorful as well as the french dip (prime rib) sandwich was 10/10. The mac and cheese tasted homemade and delicious. The service was great. Will definitely be coming back here!

Food was excellent. We were a little short on time so we had to get it to go. Even though the server was pleasant enough I felt as if we were bothering her when we needed to go boxes, plastic utensils, small cups with lids for our salad dressing and condiments. As we were leaving another server asked if we would like a bag. We had not wanted to ask her for one.. Would eat there again but I’m not sure I’d want the same server.

Just had the pleasure of having dinner at the newly opened restaurant. Blueberry gin fizz was amazing and the pork belly planks were perfectly prepared. I had the BBQban, the portion was so generous I had to take the rest home. I recommend the black eyed peas as well, and the desserts are to die for. Service was great! Definitely a new favorite spot of mine. Would give 6 stars if I could!

My parents tried this place and loved it, so I was excited to try it with them.
We waited over an hour for a salad, and our entrees. The waiter was very rude, I don’t think he liked us so he proceeded to avoid us for an hour. We ran out of water and had to flag him down after 30 minutes. We were trying to figure out who the manager was, but we couldn’t tell. The whole place seemed to be really unorganized as half of it was empty but the staff was acting as if they were at capacity.
Food was decent. I got the mahi mahi and it was dry and tasteless, but the cilantro lime rice and beans were okay. I tried the flat breads my other family members had and those were good.
I don’t think I’ll go back just because of the poor service and treatment by staff. We honestly felt uncomfortable asking for anything from the wait staff.
