Olive on Main nails the balance between great food and a genuinely friendly, welcoming vibe. The bacon-wrapped shrimp and dates are a must every time, and the stuffed burgers (especially the jalapeño burger) are next level. The addition they put in a few years back completely opened up the space and transformed the dining experience, making it feel both lively and comfortable. Easily the best dining option on Main Street, and a place I’m always happy to recommend.

Odalis was our server she is very kind and friendly. She was knowledgeable about the food and answered all questions. The food is super good and was quick. We went on Friday and had a reservation but it wasn’t that busy tonight. The place is clean and a great environment.

I was in Laurel to visit the old train station and wanted some lunch. I read the great reviews and stopped in. Friendly staff. Free parking on the street. Plenty of seating! Well stocked bar with beer on tap. I shall return!

Great little spot for a dinner date if you like Mediterranean food. The pitas are grilled (I always order an extra side of pita because the hummus portion is generous) which makes them warm and extra tasty. They have killer Cadillac margarita. My husband loves the shawarma. I don’t have a favorite entrée because I like to try different things, but def love the fried mushroom app, have to get that every time. Staff is friendly. We have “our table” by the window that they let us sit in if it’s open.

The food portion is huge. Good for 2-3 meals lol. I had pork chops with onion rings. Yum. All the starters were good. The service was fast. The servers were nice and professional. I’m not sure if they have parking spots but I didn’t have a hard time parking on the street. Overall experience was great. This place is good for family and working meals.

Had rack of lamb with grilled zucchini and French fries. My sister had the crab cakes. For dessert had the Napolitano cake. Everything was delicious.

Fantastic Lunch at Olive on Main!
We had such a great experience at Olive on Main in Laurel! The atmosphere was warm and inviting—perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch with our family of four. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable right away, whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special gathering with friends and family.
The food was delicious, with generous portions and rich flavors that hit the spot. Our entrees were cooked perfectly, and even the kids’ meals were a hit! But what really made our visit stand out was our server, Tori. She was so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and even suggesting some amazing drinks that we absolutely loved.
The best part? We enjoyed two entrees, two kids’ meals, and drinks for all of us—two alcoholic and two non-alcoholic—for about $70. It’s a great value for the quality and experience you get.
If you’re looking for a spot that’s great for both small family meals and larger group gatherings, Olive on Main is worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Wonderful and very tasty Mediterranean cuisine. Very good service and a nice beer/wine/cocktail selection. Everything ordered was freshly prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. Mezza platter and flat bread were excellent!!

I have lived in Laurel for years and can literally walk to this restaurant, but never stepped foot inside until a friend invited me there for happy hour. Not only is Olive on Main a lot bigger than I thought, but the overall experience exceeded my expectations! I didn’t realize it’s more of a Mediterranean restaurant, even though it makes sense now with the name. The spinach dip was so yummy and matched perfectly with the fresh pita bread. I also enjoyed my margarita (black raspberry, I think?) and lemon pepper wings. Even the WATER was noticeably crisp and good! Lol. I’m definitely looking forward to going back soon to try the lamb chops. It’s awesome discovering cute, local spots, and this place is now on my list of top faves in Laurel.

I dashed in during the intermission of the show at Laurel Mill Playhouse. I sat at the bar and was able to sip on a glass of a lovely red blend and a nice appetizer–all under 12 minutes! The bartender was friendly and efficient. She made sure that I was able to return to the theatre prior to the second act. I’ve dined at this restaurant on numerous occasions and it never disappoints!!
