My family and I tried an array of items on the dinner menu and were pleasantly impressed! We loved the pastas, artichoke, and chicken Marsala.
We shared the carbonara and rigatoni which was very 10/10 and packed with bold flavors, we especially loved the carbonara! The artichoke and aioli sauce were fire. Also shoutout are waiter Wilbert for providing us excellent service and recommendations!

We initially visited Vino Bello Resort for a timeshare presentation, and as many know, there’s always a little catch but thanks to Catherine at the front desk (who’s quite the charmer and a pro, like any good salesperson), we ended up receiving not just one, but two gift offers, and one of them led us to Olive & Hay. What a pleasant surprise this restaurant turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt cozy, inviting, and perfectly ideal after a long day. The real star, however, was the food. I ordered the Lamb, Clams, and a delicious Pizza, paired with a lovely wine. Every bite was rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. I honestly ate so much, I could barely walk back to my room totally worth it! The service was equally top. notch. Our server, (DA) from Nepal, was incredibly polite, professional, and attentive. He clearly knows how to make guests feel welcome and valued. Overall, this was a truly memorable dining experience. I would absolutely return not just to stay longer at the resort, but specifically to dine at Olive & Hay again. Highly recommended, hands down. Loved it

We had both lunch and dinner here and everything was amazing!
Lunch – We ordered the pizza and Italian salad, both were delicious, especially the salad dressing. So flavorful!
Dinner – We had the truffle fries, NY steak, asparagus, and carbonara. Every dish was fresh and tasty, and the portions were just right.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. Highly recommended!

We were staying at the Meritage, and this is the only restaurant on the property. Since we had a reservation, we were seated quickly. We ordered the House Made Focaccia, Calabria pizza, Rigatoni, and the Bucatini.
The House-Made Focaccia was very oily, and honestly, not very memorable.
The Calabria Pizza came with calabrese sausage, mozzarella, calabrian chili honey, and parmesan. It had a sweet and savory flavor, but the crust was soft and floppy.
The Rigatoni was made of braised lamb ragu, creamy tomato sauce, radicchio, and fiore sardo. While the lamb was tender, the portion was small, probably just 4 pieces in it.
The Bucatini was made of black pepper, pecorino romano, and parmesan mousse, which was skippable. The flavor was overwhelmingly just black pepper flavor after all.
We had the tiramisu served in a moka pot alongside a scoop of vanilla gelato. The gelato was great, but the tiramisu was overly soggy and fell short of expectations.
Service was lacking, our waiter didn’t check on us until we were finished with our meal.

Woooowwwwww. The food at Olive and Hay was PHENOMONAL!!! Wilbert made it extra special celebrating a birthday and girls night. The pasta and burrata was memorable. I will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem.

We had such a wonderful experience at Olive & Hay in Napa Valley! Thank you to the team for welcoming us even though we arrived about 30 minutes before closing on a Thursday night. Our waiter, Da, provided outstanding service—attentive, kind, and professional. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Eunice and Emily, who made us feel so genuinely welcomed.
The food and service were beyond expectations—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What stood out even more was the warm hospitality that made us feel like regulars. It was such a nice surprise seeing Eunice again, as she served us brunch last year and we still remembered her kindness and care.
The restaurant is also conveniently close to Vino Bello Resort, where we were staying. Olive & Hay will definitely be a regular stop for us, and we’ll be recommending it to friends and family visiting Napa. We look forward to coming back next year!

We were staying at the Meritage and Olive + Hay became our “go to place” for relaxing, easy and lighter meals — both breakfast and dinner. We ate dinner there and our server was Eunice. She was wonderful! helped ensure our meals were just as we wanted them. She was able to work out a few tweaks to menu items that made all the differenence with our food preferences. Checked on us frequently and had a sparkling personality — she was fantastic and an asset to the restaurnt. The food was prepared perfectly and delicious. Also well priced for the portion size and quality of ingredients. And the cocktail was lovely. A great night! Thank you to Eunice and the entire team.

The Vegetable Risotto was good, but nothing special at all. The same for the fries. The food came out very quickly after ordering. My drink took a lot longer. It was an old fashioned of some kind with walnut bitters. It was disappointing. Maybe the rest of the menu is better, but for these prices I had higher expectations. Go elsewhere away from The Meritage for better restaurant options and prices.

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The avocado toast (with a salmon twist) is so good, all three of us got the same thing. Comes with a side of roasted potatoes that are SUPER good. We all had an espresso martini which is really strong, so no need for more than one cocktail.
Our server was Juan and he was friendly and super attentive, despite how busy it was for brunch.
Would definitely return!
