Olive Garden – Updated 2026, Italian Restaurant in Tulalip, WA
Reviews
We visited during the holidays to enjoy the lights and dine together, with family visiting from Canada. Because of this, we needed a table that could accommodate seven or eight people. There was an appropriate table available. Our server kindly said he would check to see if it could be assigned to us.
Shortly after, Anna approached us in a visibly irritated mood—no greeting, no introduction, no professionalism. I politely explained our situation and asked if we could have the available table since more guests were joining us. Her response was dismissive and condescending. She stated that I was “not the only party that needed a table” and that she had “other guests to help,” implying we were an inconvenience.
She then told us we should be grateful she seated us at all after we had already waited over 50 minutes. During this exchange, she rolled her eyes repeatedly. My family and friends were shocked by the tone and body language. At no point did she attempt to de-escalate or offer a solution.
Despite another table remaining empty, we were made to feel unwelcome and burdensome. Because of her behavior, we asked additional family members to meet us elsewhere rather than endure further discomfort. This was supposed to be a joyful holiday gathering.
What made this even more concerning was overhearing the manager casually discussing personal matters—including weight loss surgery—while claiming she didn’t have time to speak respectfully to paying customers. During the holidays especially, this lack of professionalism is unacceptable.
As we were leaving, Anna looked me up and down, rolled her eyes again, and made faces. I have never experienced such disrespect from someone holding a managerial position at a family-friendly restaurant.
People work hard to afford meals out, especially during the holidays. Being treated with basic courtesy should be the minimum expectation. Because of this experience, I will be choosing a different location in the future.
I’m sharing this publicly so management is aware and so other families do not experience the same treatment. Many people stay silent—I won’t.
I will also make sure to reach the Corporate office as well this occurred on Dec 6th
The only downside was the French fries — they were dry and overcooked, and could have been much better.
One thing that really bothered me was seeing an extra charge for some games on the final bill. It wasn’t a big amount, but no one told us in advance that there would be an additional charge for that.
Otherwise, everything was very good: the service was fast and friendly, there was plenty of seating, and the cocktails were tasty. Overall, we were happy with our visit and I would recommend this family-friendly restaurant for lunch or dinner — the price-to-quality ratio is great.
The fried shrimp was crispy and flavorful with a perfect dipping sauce. The pasta dishes were generous and delicious — the creamy steak pasta was rich and satisfying, and the meat sauce fettuccine was hearty and full of flavor. Even the kids’ meal was a big hit, with pasta and fries that disappeared in no time.
Everything came out hot and fresh, with big portions and friendly service that made the whole experience so enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, hearty Italian food! ❤️
I’ve had nothing but exceptional experiences at the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Tulalip Marysville. Whether I’m dining with my family of four or enjoying a special “mom and me” outing with my 9-year-old daughter, this location never disappoints. The atmosphere is always warm, clean, and inviting, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.
Our servers are friendly, patient, and attentive — especially with my daughter, who loves coming here for our little bonding moments. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. From the soups and salads to our favorite entrées, everything tastes amazing every single visit.
What I appreciate most is the consistency. No matter when we come, we’re treated with kindness, the service runs smoothly, and the experience feels special each time. Olive Garden in Tulalip Marysville has truly become one of our favorite places to enjoy great meals and create lasting memories.
Highly recommended for families, date nights, or anyone looking for quality service and delicious Italian dishes!

Olive Garden has always been a staple for our family because the food is good for even the pickiest of eaters, and please trust that we’ve got them with us in our party, lol! With that said, we were pleasantly surprised with our amazing experience at Olive Garden tonight!
We had a party of 8, so we figured there would at least be a 15 minute wait…even on a Sunday evening…but, nope!! No wait at all!! Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure all of our dining needs were met. Our drinks were never empty, we were given straws without having to ask (this drives me nuts…), we didn’t have to wait too long for our appetizers or entrees, and the manager even stopped by the table to make sure everything was going well.
The food was delicious, as usual, and the portions are enough to feed our family for another couple of yummy meals…so money well spent!
Like I said, we typically have a good experience at the Olive Garden, but tonight’s experience was definitely worth mentioning! So pleased we picked this restaurant for our spontaneous dinner choice tonight! We will definitely be back again!
.
We reached quite late while traveling back from Diablo lake, and we were super hungry and this was the first and best fine dine that we found on the way.
.
We ordered herb-grilled Salmon, it was served with steamed broccoli. Quite filling for one person. On side for salmon we went for Famous house salad. The salad quantity was very good too.
Shrimp Scampi was very exquisite. Fresh shrimps tasted in recent days. It’s more like a two person quantity. On the side for scampi we chose chicken and gnocchi soup. It was smooth and creamy.
Artichoke dip was cheesy creamy and delicious. It was served with breadsticks.
For starters we went with Calamari. For the dip we had spicy ranch and marina. Although the dip was initially served in small quantities, but we found out it was refilling one, so we kept it coming, specifically the ranch! Calamari was fried crisp and very fresh.
Good joint for sea food and Italian dish. No doubt about that!!

Only issue was since we reached around closing time and the restaurant was still open, the staff were very open and expressive about their inconvenience. It reflected in the way they took our order and served as well. The vibe from server staff was cold and rude. Although she checked with us multiple times if we wanted to order again, we were hesitant to say something to her, owing to the tone and realizing that it was past their closing time.
They should have just declined us when we checked with them on call if they would take our orders since we were on the way and looking for open restaurants. Would have avoided inconvenience for both parties.
