We decided spontaneously after a visit to the Lick observatory to dine here. All the staff were super professional, friendly and quick. What I really enjoyed was that our waiter made an extra effort to help my parents (their English is a bit basic). The food was on the table in no time and was delicious and hot. I tried the pasta with steak and gorgonzola and didn’t regret it!

The food is pretty average and doesn’t really reflect authentic Italian cuisine, but it’s good overall, especially considering the price and the free refills of soup and salad.
The staff are excellent, the service is great, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

I ate at the garden of olives. Surprisingly even though it seemed pretty busy; we were quick to get a table and service.
The menu was pretty big but we chose quickly. Getting two dishes of pasta that comes with the soup and bread.
While we waited for the pasta they gave us our bread and soup. It was pretty tasty soup and garlic bread. Honestly ate a lot of the soup and bread, so wasn’t even that hungry for the pasta.
But when the pasta came it was good too. It’s a lot of food to eat. But it’s a pretty interesting experience.

Hello, I want to firstly say that I’m from out of town on a business trip and I have no reason to write bad reviews at all but I MUST share what I saw. I went early to this location early around 12-1pm to order some lunch and entered the to-go area to order. A young lady had already placed an order so I was waiting for the attendant to come place my order. I waiting for about 10-15 minutes but no one came. However, I observed a hispanic lady preparing the spaghetti noodles for the day. I really wish I was making this up, but she used her bare hands to get the noodles out of the aluminum bowl and spread them on a flatter pan. To my surprise, she turned and looked back to see if the customers were watching her. I pretended to look at my phone bc I was interesting in knowing what else she would do. So she continued to prepare the noodles, she walkedaway and then came back to pour a white sauce over the noodles and begin stirring it with her bare her hands. I was so shocked and grossed out that I ran out of there. Mind you, no server had not returned to take orders. I work in the food department back home and this without a doubt a safety concern on so many levels. It’s disgusting and it shows the laziness of your workers. She should of had on a clean apron while removing the noodles, hair covering, shoe covering and gloves. All of this is required when handing food especially noodles because it’s long and can literally swing as you’re transferring it from one container to the next. The next thing you all should have is a team leader circulating to ensure that everyone is following safety protocols. There was no one of course bc she felt very comfortable performing this disgusting work practice. I’m very disappointed in your location but in California in general. I will report to the general manager and to health services. This is beyond unsanitary and your establishment needs to be revamped and re-educated on the importance of why you need to follow standard safety precautions.

this was a leisurely Sunday afternoon lunch with friends. There was a new item on the menu that I tried. It was spaghetti with three different kinds of sauce. However, after I got my plate, I had to add a sausage to it because I love sausage in my spaghetti sauce. Once I added that it tasted really, really good. We also celebrated with Italian margaritas and good conversation. Since I love Angel hair pasta with my spaghetti, it made it taste, lighter, and using the heavier noodles.

Pretty decent food. Went here on a late Friday evening at about 8.30pm. Ordered the never ending soup salad and bread sticks. Salad was fresh! And the bread sticks were warm and amazing. Also ordered Alfredo fettuccine pasta, which was quite good and heavy

This spot’s known for its Italian-style eats and seriously big pasta portions. It was our first time checking out the San Jose location, and we were stoked with the super friendly service and how good everything tasted — the Zuppa Toscana soup, the classic salad, and that shrimp and chicken pasta totally hit the spot.

The service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and atemptive. The restaurants restroom were ok. I had a chicken alfredo with side meatballs and the salad is unlimited. They even gave me a salad to go so don’t forget to ask.. Enjoy!
