We went on a weeknight. No wait. But the front staff did not acknowledge me and seated the man behind me right away. They then asked how many in our party. The service was mediocre. Our seat had crumbs on there. The food was overall pretty good. Service however was lacking.

We had no wait on this past Tuesday evening, were promptly greeted and seated. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting. We ordered the calamari and spinach-artichoke dip for appetizers. That came first along with bread sticks, my salad that came with my entree, and my daughter’s chicken & gnocchi soup that came with her entree. Then we had the spaghetti and lasagna for entrees. I also ordered the Bellini peach raspberry iced tea. The food was nice and hot when received, it was delicious and flavorful. The young lady that served us was great, very friendly and helpful. And even the manager made rounds and stopped at our table twice during our visit to make sure everything was okay. Definitely will return and recommend.

Olive Garden seems to be a consistent “okay” experience if you’re looking for a decent pasta. Their calamari appetizer had the right flavor but the pieces came out soft instead of crunchy, feeling warmed up rather than just freshly cooked. The pasta I ate had a good flavor but it also suffered that “just warmed” feeling and that couldn’t escape my mind. The Italian Margarita for $9 is alright but really becomes good when you add the $2 patron add on. Nothing memorable, nothing disappointing. It’s just Olive Garden: the Italian restaurant you go to when you don’t know any other Italian restaurants in the area.

My complaint about the service. Waiters were on their phones or off having conversations making is wait for them after we got seated. I’ll be nice in rest of detail. Other than that. Food was great, bread sticks a little dry though.

I haven’t been to this restaurant ever before but I haven’t been to Olive Garden in years, this restaurant was a phenomenal place to go for a long dinner with large groups. I had an excellent time. Drinks were served back to back, salads and plates, and all service was extremely helpful. The meals themselves were delicious, and I had the Tour of Italy and Seafood Misto as an appetizer, also spinach dip. Delicious and I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to try it out. Any parties larger than 20 are great here, and the staff and servers were exceptional.

Overall good experience. Haven’t been in awhile and new to this branch out in Manhatten Beach. Service was slow in the beginning but picked up after ordering. Of course the free bread is always yummy. Ordered 2 entrées which comes with soup or salad, appetizer and one kids menu item. Food was good, not great, but good. Of course being a mega chain restaurant, the service and food is consistent, or it should be, so that’s always a plus.

Hadn’t been here for 6yrs. Just moved back in town and decided to go. There was a bit of delay being seated though it was not busy.
