I had a surprise lunch for my husband ‘s 79th Birthday. 11 of his very special friends came. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. ( Thank you Sierra and Kennedy) You were giving us everything we asked for and you were busy. You both did an excellent job. I would recommend Olive Garden to everyone. We went to the one in Farmington, NM.

Great food. Laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Horrible service. Our waiter was innatentive and got our order wrong. Didn’t seem to care at all. Might help to train for customer service and double tasking. We were offered a free desert for the mess up on our order but when it came time the waiter didn’t even ask what desert and immediately jumped to are you paying with card or paying me in cash. His attitude sucked. I’ll gladly pay Olive garden for the food we consumed because it was great. But to get laughed at as we are exiting the booth I will never step place in that restaurant again due to poor service.

Too bad. They usually have really good service. We had to wait several minutes for someone to see we were waiting at the door. We finally had to ask the bartender who made a flimsy excuse that “they” were rolling silverware. This tells me 1. That the silverware is more important than the paying, waiting, customer and 2. The person cannot handle simple multitasking. We had to wait again for someone to clean a table. Then we waited for the bartender for our drinks. Then of course we had to ask where our food was!! Waitress did not offer any more bread even though we had a long wait for our food. I hope this is an isolated thing. We stopped going here because I ordered a very expensive salad and they brought me a bowl of JUST lettuce. The waiter made “an excuse”. I HATE excuses. Don’t try to justify bad behavior. If you can’t handle the job, give it to someone who can!! And when you can, I’m prepared to tip generously.

4 stars because the booth we got was in the bar area, not my favorite place to eat. However, the waiter we got, Isaac, was amazing; very attentive and paid attention to detail. While the total was a bit steep, with pre-dinner drinks and dessert, it wasn’t bad. We won’t be eating like that any time soon, but every once in a while you just have to treat yourself.
