We were literally not even fully seated yet and she came over to take our order. We ordered drinks and then she asked what we wanted for food and when we said we didn’t know (since we hadn’t opened the menus or sat our toddler down..) she said okay but letting you know the kitchen is slammed. Okay, that’s fine we understand it’s Saturday night. She came back 45 seconds later and asked again, I was talking to our son asking if he wanted to take his jacket off and my husband was moving the table tablet away from him so we hardly registered she was back already, she walked away before we could answer. Two mins later we ordered. Again told the kitchen is slammed and food will take awhile.
So our salad and soup come. No bread sticks, my husband has to ask. Those come and like two mins later our food shows up. It was MAYBE 5 mins after ordering. I’m not complaining about getting food fast but dang we didn’t even eat our starters.
Then the first INSANE thing happens. We ask for more bread and she grabs the napkin from the bread basket and leaves the metal basket. I look at my husband and say “she’s going to come out holding the bread in her hands isn’t she?” And that’s exactly what she did. She carried the bread clumped in her hands and put it in the basket she left at the table. I understand she handles our food but come on, why is she carrying food not in a dish trough the restaurant!!?!
Then she stops at our table (again not exaggerating) every 2 mins to ask how every thing is the entire time we ate.
Finally I’m paying on the tablet and she comes over as I’m selecting the tip amount and she just stands there staring at it until I make my selection for amount. It was super uncomfortable, and I tip very fairly. Lastly, we’re gathering our stuff to leave and she comes over with her arms full of dishes and a beer bottle from the table behind us and sets it all down and starts clearing the table (just making piles of our dishes with the other tables), mind you we’re were trying to get up and leave and we physically can’t because she’s blocking us.
LASTLY SHE TAKES A FULL BUD LITE AND PLACES INSIDE MY BOWL WHICH OF COURSE FALLS OVER SPILLING BUD LITE ALL OVER MY TODDLERS SWEATSHIRT, MY PHONE, AND MY RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC HUSBAND. I honestly wanted to get away from her so badly we ate in a hurry and literally were in and out of the place in 30 mins. We felt rushed and claustrophobic by this waitress and just wanted to leave. It was too busy to ask at the host stand to speak with a manager but I would really like to.
Had the tour of Italy.
Chicken Parm, deep fried and crispy.
Alfredo, needed a little salt, but rich, lasagna, VERY good and rich.
All in all 5 star recommendation!
Everyone had something different, I had the lighter side portion of chicken parmigiana with the chicken gnocchi soup – highly recommended!! The strawberry cheesecake is pretty yummy as well.
