This was our second time dining at Olive Garden. The location is very convenient for travelers visiting Chicago, as it is right next to the Blue Line.
Thank you to Jay for giving us such a wonderful experience. He patiently explained the menu to us and all of his recommendations were excellent. When he heard that we were visiting from another country, he thoughtfully prepared a salad for us to take away.

I’ve been coming to Olive Garden since 2014—and I’ve also worked behind the scenes: on the line, behind the bar, in delivery, and as a server. Seeing both sides of the operation, I can confidently say what truly stands out is their consistency and cleanliness, especially in the kitchen. That level of professionalism is not easy to maintain, and they do it well.
The Addison, Illinois location also offers a great ambiance—welcoming, comfortable, and perfect for families or a relaxed night out. The service is always solid, the food is consistently good, and you know exactly what quality to expect every time.
This place continues to deliver year after year. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the creamy mushroom pasta and the spinach artichoke dip. The breadsticks are of course to die for as well. The servers were really friendly and nice too. Loved the place, will be back soon!

From start to finish, her service was thoughtful, warm, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling forced or scripted. She paid attention to the small details, checked in at exactly the right moments, and made us feel genuinely cared for—not rushed, not forgotten, not treated like just another table.
What stood out most was how human the experience felt. Gabby brought a calm, positive energy that made the entire meal better. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in their work and still treats guests with real kindness and patience.
The food was exactly what you expect from Olive Garden, but the service was far above expectations. Gabby elevated the entire experience and turned a regular dinner into something memorable.
Servers like her are the reason people come back. Olive Garden is lucky to have Gabby, and we’ll absolutely be asking for her again.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had here they gave me my appetizer after the main course I was being rushed out i order an unlimited soup and salad and only got 1 soup and 1 salad out of it I would just stick to the olive gardens in the southwest suburbs because this one is not it, servers weren’t attentive but I was still gracious enough to leave a 25 percent tip but I will not be going back ever. I have 2 adults and 4 small children we should not have been rushed out and I waited 45 min for a table to be rushed out for time less than that maybe they should start doing reservations.

I will start off by saying that our food was amazing. Our waitress, Destiny, however was terrible. We were seated, waited 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged because she was working in the bar (?). She came over and we were finally able to order drinks. Then before we receive our drinks she was rushing past our table basically threw a basket of bread sticks down on her way by, no plates no nothing. Then we order, I ordered the shrimp scampi with no asparagus, it comes out with asparagus in it. She immediately blames the kitchen, takes it back, not even 1 minute later she comes back our with my correct order. Says oh they made it right I just grabbed the wrong one. We get through dinner and my sons birthday dessert. She says oh dont pay yet I have to have my manager take off his birthday desert, says she will be right back. Well…. she never came back. I needed a box. Never saw her again. I finally just looked and saw the dessert was taken off. We just left….. left my food, and my fiances food that we were planning on taking and just paid and left. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Special thanks to Emilio and Grant for taking such great care of us. Emilio was proactive with recommendations, deals, and updates on food. We were impressed to learn it was only his first day and he did such a great job, clearly thanks to Grant’s training. 🙂
