We are “golden girls” in our ‘70’s and have been lucky enough to be seated in Reuben ‘s area the last two times we’ve dined there. He is the best of the best and made sure our dining experience was the best also. The meals were really good and when served by a young man who is also very good, our experience was exceptional ! Wonderful food! Always pretty busy… they need to revisit their seating charts. It’s pretty tight. I had many staff and customers bump alongside my back through our meal. Pretty annoying. Service was great!

Visited on Sat Oct 11th. Had Andrea for our server. She is a blast! We absolutely loved her! The service was great considering how absolutely swamped busy it was at the time. Only complaint was the food for our table of 6 came out at different times, one at our table was way behind the others, but the food is always great and we loved Andrea!

If I could go less I would. I went there on my birthday last week. Server spilt 2 drinks and then spilled red wine on my head and down my back. He said he would take care of it. I didn’t yell. He was clearly shook up from what happened. Food was fine. I canceled plans I had with friends after the dinner because my hair was crispy and I smelled like I bathed in wine. Wasn’t too happy about that.
But then the manager came out and gave me a gift card. It was for $20. That didnt even cover the cost of the wine let alone the ruining my hair that I had just gotten curled and my plans for the entire night. I tried to email the manager since he gave a business card. Surprise. Email address isn’t valid. So I email corporate. They forward it to the manager who still hasn’t reached out to me. I’m done and will spread the word to everyone I talk to how horrible this experience was.

My party joined the waitlist tonight but was told it expired when we got there. The lady with the iPad that later introduced herself as Mari (wearing all black and a pink sweater) informed us of this and told us she would do us a favor (because she was friends with one of our guests) and told us we were second in line. After seeing couples and three parties of 4+ get seated before us, a member of our party went to the host stand to ask when we would be seated. At this time, myself and other members of our party heard Mari complain about how “impatient” our friend was for asking after being told we were second on the waitlist. This behavior and lying in the first place was very unprofessional, rude, and uncalled for. Fortunately, the food and server were amazing! Just wish all staff were like this.

Food was very mediocre. I ordered raspberry lemon aid, I got raspberry tea. Waiter had to come back to table twice because he couldn’t remember our order. My husband ordered grilled chicken on his pasta but they gave him breaded chicken. Our pasta was not hot when it was brought out. I asked for lemon in my water but did not get any. We called for waiter on our service tablet so we could pay our bill but he never came. We had to ask manager to help us because we wanted to pay with cash. Furnishings are very worn and old looking. Could use an update. The bathroom was filthy. The waitstaff was very disorganized and seemed overwhelmed. This made for a very anxious atmosphere. This was at the mankato mn location.
