I normally order from the bar a to go order. Have a drink while I wait get my food and go. I forgot to tell the bartender (not the normal bartenders) that it was to go. That is my fault, I know. When she brought my salad I realized it. I did apologized and let her know my order was to go and apologized again. She gave me an irritated look and responded “next time you order from there” (motioning to the to go counter). I have never had issues at this place or any other Olive Garden ordering from the bar before. After that I felt ignored and almost like I had inconvenienced her. I could understand if the bar area was full…. But I was the only one there? Immature or lazy. Very disappointed with this experience.
My order was super disappointing as well. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs with extra meat sauce. I got spaghetti noodles with almost no sauce and definitely no meatballs (see photo) . I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but I am not in the mood to have to deal with it at this point. This location may have left st my business due to this.
When I first walked in, the host at the front , already had an attitude. She told us there was a wait but didn’t explain how long. When I politely asked again how long the wait would be, she responded “5–10 minutes” with a clear attitude. That set the tone right away.
Once seated, our server ( Kayla I believe her name was ) was extremely rude and unprofessional. I ordered chicken alfredo, and she repeatedly kept saying fettuccine, as if correcting me—when those are not the same thing. Chicken alfredo comes with chicken; plain fettuccine does not. I had to repeat myself multiple times, yet she still acted like I didn’t know what I was ordering.
She also kept reaching over my food, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked questions about the menu because I wanted to try something new, she acted annoyed and told me she could “give me a few minutes and come back,” instead of answering the questions I was asking. That’s literally part of her job.
What made it worse was watching her interact with another table—she was smiling, friendly, and engaged with them. When she came to our table, her demeanor completely changed: no smile, short responses, and an overall negative attitude. It honestly made me feel like she did not want to serve me at all.
Because of the overall disrespectful and uncomfortable experience, I did not leave a tip. I strongly believe tips are earned through service, and this was far below acceptable.
I will not be returning to this location. Olive Garden seriously needs to address customer service and professionalism here.
