First off, I love Olive Garden and with their lunch menu it makes eating lunch on a budget doable. However, service is not that great. Last time I ordered food I got back to work and started on my bread sticks. As they are typically amazing, this time they were rock hard and had to throw them out. Today I put in an order and let them know how bad the bread sticks were last time. She told me that they can get that way from the drive home. I drive 10 minutes at most between places. No sorry, no what could we do differently, nothing. When I went to pick up my food I spoke with the manager. She didn’t seem to care either. They said they put in a couple extra bread sticks but when I got back to work I found out they lied. When you eat at a place 1 to 2 times a week and they treat you like you don’t care, it’s very disappointing. Other than that, everything else was good.

I travel for work so subsequently I frequent a lot of different Olive Garden Restaurants. Usually, they have pretty high standards. This one here in Traverse City tho is the dumpster fire of all Olive Garden’s.
I’ve never been able to order carry out from here without it being late. I will say dayshift is very polite and apologetic about this. Evening staff, However especially the little blonde girl her Mom must be the manager or something… your food will be late and she will serve you an attitude. Or she’ll lose your order altogether and give you a totally different order.
Also want to mention I ordered from here four times before I decided you guys deserve this review. Do better in the future. Clearly, this is a management problem either complacency or lack of training.

My friend and I came to this establishment yesterday for lunch and had the best experience ever. For some background I am a waitress myself and have very high expectations when I go out to eat, to say the least, my expectations were blown out of the water. We had Jamie for our server and he was incredible!! From the very first time that he greeted us I knew he was going to be an incredible server. He was the perfect mix of professional and funny. Jamie did an excellent job at table touching and making sure the we had refills on our drinks and food (we had the never ending soup, salad, and breadsticks). Overall this was one of the BEST experiences that I have ever had in a restaurant, Jamie made our day and we can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Jamie for amazing service!!

When ever my 8 year old gets sick and can’t eat, he always asks for a fresh made strawberry smoothie. This staff is awesome always let’s me pick it up never tried to force me to order more. They just create a fresh, delicious smoothie that always helps my son to start feeling better. Is it a magical smoothie????I can’t speak to that, but I can say it ALWAYS works❤️

Our waitress Beth saved us money, was attentive, got us everything we asked for in a timely manner, and was kind considerate and thinking ahead about our needs. Olive Garden has been a long time favorite known for its casual, family-friendly atmosphere and generous portions, My wife and I enjoy their unlimited soup, salad, and freshly baked breadsticks. This location represents the brand at an extremely high level. Fast and friendly service and the restaurant is extremely clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this Olive Garden in Traverse City.

Owen was an outstanding server and made our visit genuinely enjoyable. He was friendly, attentive, and checked in at all the right times without ever feeling rushed. You can tell he really cares about giving great service. We’ll absolutely be asking for Owen next time. Highly recommend!

Service was horrible on my birthday 8/28/25 . Food was bland . greasy and bread sticks were old and chewy Not offered refills on salad or bread sticks. We had the unlimited pasta.Skyler was a terrible server in Traverse city Olive Garden I will never go back to Olive Garden.
