It’s going to sound like I paid for my testimony but I promise I didn’t.

First of all, I came during happy hour. It was packed. I got the last parking spot that was half on a curb because the car next to it was greedy. So. Scene set for capacity maxed.

I was sat immediately, no line. My server basically was following the hostess and ready to take my order before I was fully in my chair. I got the never ending bowl happy hour special. Unlimited soup, unlimited salad, unlimited breadsticks, unlimited pasta and a flavored tea.

YALL. I am not lying.

I had all my food in SIX MINUTES. SIX. The place is packed. The staff running around like chickens with their head cut off and I have fresh, hot, delicious food in front of me in a little over 5 minutes? K.

Then the bill came. $21. You guys. I pay more for lunch at McDonald’s and I’m going home with 5 boxes of fresh breadsticks, fresh soup, fresh spaghetti and fresh salad and an over stuffed stomach.

I mean what are we doing as a society eating anywhere else?

Review (4/5 Stars)

We had a great experience for a holiday-week dinner. Despite the 7:00 PM rush, our group of seven was seated in a semi-private room surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. It felt like a cozy sunroom and was perfect for our group; having three kids with us, it was nice to be able to hold a conversation without competing with the main dining room noise. The only minor drawback was the temperature—it was a bit chilly in that glassed-in area—but honestly, I’d prefer that over a stuffy restaurant any day.

Our waiter was the highlight of the night. He was incredibly attentive and kept the “endless” salad and breadsticks flowing without us ever having to ask. Unlike some locations that ration the breadsticks based on head count, he kept the table well-stocked and even brought extra boxes for our leftovers at the end.

The only “tick” against the visit is the new-(ish?) corporate POS (Point of Sale) system. They use handheld wireless devices for payment now. While it’s meant for convenience, it made splitting the check for a large group a bit clunky and impersonal. I’ve seen some locations use these for ordering as well, and I worry that shifting the waiter’s job onto a tablet ultimately hurts the staff’s tips and the personal connection that makes dining out enjoyable. Including this one – the waiter was a highlight

Overall, the food was exactly what you want from Olive Garden, but the service is what really made the night.

Everything was perfect, or at least that’s what the waitress said ad nauseum to anything said. The minestrone soup was just warm, not hot. The breadsticks were warm but did not seem freshly baked. Service was good, but please tone down the faux enthusiasm and superlatives.

I don’t know what to say- I am speechless. I just had the best experience ever with Arion as my waiter. He was witty, funny, attentive, and provided my family with the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I don’t normally like Olive Garden but for Arion I would eat here more often just so I could experience the AWESOMENESS of Arion.

The food and service were very good. My friend had their soup while I had the salad with my meal. Both were delicious. For an entree I had the shrimp scampi and my friend had the chicken alfredo. We both greatly enjoyed the meal. If you haven’t been to Olive Garden in awhile it might be time to give them a try. I know I’ll be back.

First time here, not like most OGs, they seated us right next to the kitchen door, which was noisy and seats looked their age. But waiter was okay not rude but not the best also. I guess they are making smaller portions of food we got our first bowl of soups and it looked like a 2 years old bowl. My fettuccine Alfredo was the same size as my daughters kids meal fettuccine Alfredo, no refills drinks, took forever to get napkins. Not really impressed but only in town for a few weeks so we won’t be going back. Shrimp did not smell like it was good, my husband didn’t even get to eat his food.

We both had an appetizer. I had the lasagna rolls. My friend had the shrimp fritto misto. Amazing. I had the minestrone soup, while my friend had the salad. We both chose the smaller portion of the chicken parmesan as our main course. Great decision given all food that preceded the main course.

Really fast service. I had barely started on my soup when the appetizers arrived. Then came our main course. Gabby was very attentive, always asking if we wanted more drinks, breadsticks, and such. Thanks!

And to think, we were going to go somewhere else, but it would have been more than an hour wait. At Olive Garden, we were seated immediately.

Guys listen I LOVE this place but today was the WORST SERVICE I’ve ever received. Didn’t get asked if I needed a refill in the entire HOUR + I was there. Not for my soup, salad, breadsticks or drink. The server I got was very clearly new which isn’t her fault, but to seat her entire section full is ridiculous. I ordered the never ending sauce and breadsticks, to get them 30 minutes apart. By the time the breadsticks came out my sauce had a film on it from sitting so long. Normally I’m not one to complain either since we are all human but the waitress did something very unprofessional. My significant other asked if we could get more than two breadsticks for our sauce. Instead of explaining nicely she looks at him and says “that’s not how we do things here” and then turns to look at me as if she wants me to shut my man up. I got up went to the hostess stand and politely waited and asked for a manager in. Instead of getting me a manager the Head Host looked right at me giggled and the asked the people behind me “how many” they had. I honestly will not being coming back here. I am very offended by the way I was treated today, like I wasn’t a paying costumer that was sitting at a table.
