5 Stars – Absolutely Amazing!
We had an incredible experience at the new Olive Garden on Evansville’s west side. From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive—absolutely perfect service. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo with broccoli and the Tour of Italy, and both dishes were fantastic. Everything was seasoned just right, served hot, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The food tasted fresh and delicious—exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

My family ate lunch on a Monday. We were seated at a booth in the bar area. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and about an hour to get our main course. We assume they were short staffed since it was Labor day. We heard the manager say they are still trying to get the kinks worked out (been open for 5 months). Food was excellent just really slow. Our experience lasted about 2 hours. Bartender was waiting tables and trying to keep up with the bar.

First up our server, Logan, was fantastic. He was always there to refill the glasses and make sure we were having an enjoyable dinner.
I had the 6 oz Sirloin sreak with fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious. I love Texas Roadhouse, but I’ll tell you, the flavor of Sirloin was better than the rib eye I typically get from there. Wife got the chicken Alfredo tortellini and as always was great. Salad was coated with just the right amount of dressing drizzled on it.

I showed up for lunch at about 12:50. I got seated right away and then waited 15 minutes before my waitress came to my table. She had a big table and was told her other tables were closed. So, it wasn’t her fault, but the restaurant’s. Once my waitress was aware I was there, I got excellent service. I ordered the stuffed chicken marsala. It was superb, delicious, mouthwatering!! Believe me, I will be back, and I’ll be ordering again! Of course my soup was wonderful too! The bread sticks could use more garlic and some parmesan cheese, and cook them a little longer, other than that, everything was excellent!!

Tonight we took a party of 15 for my mom’s birthday to the Olive Garden on the West Side! The food was great and we couldn’t have asked for better service! Great smiles and always there to make sure we had everything we need! They even threw in a special treat for my Mom! Thanks for helping make her birthday special!

We arrived in the late afternoon and were seated in the bar area with our young son. At that time, there were no other patrons present. A few minutes later, another couple was seated and received prompt service, while we had yet to be greeted or offered drinks.
Once we finally had a server come up to us she apologized and said that she just didn’t see us. we placed our drink and salad orders, and they arrived a few minutes later. then five minutes after we placed our order, the server—accompanied by the manager—came to our table to inform us that the entrée we had selected was still frozen and would require an extended amount of time to thaw and prepare. He offered a complimentary dessert as an apology, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, when my entrée arrived, the meatballs were cold and slightly undercooked in the center. I only ate one, and afterward experienced significant stomach discomfort.
Overall, the lack of timely service and concerns with food quality made this a disappointing dining experience. I truly hope these issues can be addressed to ensure better service and food standards for future guests. We decided best to skip dessert and asked for the entree waved and the manager agreed.

Always enjoy going to the Olive Garden but the new on on the west side of Evansville has so many new servers that are not up to standards that I’m considering not going there after 3 times of poor service. Otherwise it’s good as always. Just be prepared to be disappointed servers not doing a 1st class job. They are always very nice but still lack the skills other Olive Garden has.

We had family in town and decided to go eat on the Westside after our son’s christmas concert. We were a party of 9. We had a young waitress and bless her heart she did her best to keep up. It was a long wait for breadsticks and our food. When we finally got the breadsticks they were burnt. We had issues with ALL of our food. They were also out of kids pizzas for the night.(7pm) That’s never happened before. We eat at the other restaurant all the time. We saw managers walking around enjoying themselves and didn’t even offer to help our struggling waitress. When we went to leave we noticed that staff members had a back door propped open and were smoking. When the manager saw us stop and look he literally flicked his cigarette and RAN to get out of our site. We won’t be back. This wasn’t our first bad experience from this location. Sad.

The staff were amazing. The food was greasy and had so much garlic the leftovers smelled up the fridge. I don’t know who was cooking but they definitely need additional training. Ordered the seafood fettuccine and there was no creamy sauce just butter and garlic. Check out Olive Garden in Independence Missouri and learn a few things.
