Very nice restaurant. Clean dining area. Clean bathrooms. The food is delicious. We had a waiter named Gabriel that was absolutely fantastic! He was on top of everyone’s drinks without us needing to ask and was very tentative without being irritating. Very friendly and a great waiter. Definitely my families go-to Olive Garden in our area.

Wish I could give 10 Stars! My husband and I were on date night, we went to go see Solo Mio at the Emagine Theater in Portage Indiana. We wanted to take a nice long drive and we ended up at your Olive Garden in Michigan City Indiana. First of all our server Luckey was amazing! She came to the table with the biggest smile and never stopped each time she came back. She was very pleasant to talk with, which is a big part of why I take the time to write these reviews. I appreciate Great customer service. The food and drinks came out on time. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. We had the Zuppa Toscana/Minestrone with warm breadsticks, and Shrimp Scampi/Grilled Chicken Margherita, Broccoli and a side of Angel Hair Pasta tossed with butter and oil . The portions were large enough for my husband and I both to take a to-go box. Great job Olive Garden! Great way to end our date night!

Outstanding food. Good service. Told us 15 minutes for a table. It was at least half an hour. Drinks took a few minutes longer than expected. Said bartender was extremely busy. It was 2 pm. That many of us drinking that early?

I sat at the bar, had a soup and some pasta. No one offered a refill on my water, and nobody asked if I wanted anything else. No refills on bread either. Service was indifferent and the food wasn’t great. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

I’m not an uptight kind of diner. But man the service was absolutely horrible. I don’t think anything went right. Took way too long to even be greeted. Drinks…took even longer. After we finally were able to order, we had to remind the server that some of us wanted soup some wanted salad. “Oh” was the response. No sooner did we get the soups and salad and voila dinner arrived . There was more but…do better OG.

The food and atmosphere were wonderful. Service was good service but not great or wonderful. Our server was more like a robot, not rude, but not pleasant, more like going through the motion of getting you in and out. She didn’t pay attention to request and brought the wrong drinks, but we let it go. That was probably due to her walking away before you could finish talking. Her attitude finally took a turn, and a smile was offered with the $15.00 tip. Did she deserve it? No, but perhaps the next guest received better serves. The visit was good, the food was great and would visit again.

We went on a Sunday evening so it was busy. We were texted that our table was ready, but when we proceeded to the counter the host said it wasn’t. We had to wait about 5 more minutes. Once seated, our waiter was pretty good. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, no parsley. When my mean came it had parsley! I ate it anyway because I didn’t want to wait for another dish. Also the Chicken Fritta was salty compared to the grilled chicken. Overall it was an alright experience at this location.
